DON'T TOUCH - DOGEY PRODUCT!! I bought mine a year ago. It didn't work; it constantly crashed, and it would never connect correctly. So I contacted their support, who started troubleshooting the problem. It's a pretty simple device, but they couldn't figure it out. So instead of replacing it thinking it was faulty.. THEY GHOSTED ME COMPLETELY! -… Read more

Still, a year later, this device hasn't worked. It crashes every few seconds when a phone connects and goes around in a boot loop. Support still refuses to respond to any requests. $300 down the drain. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !!

Terrible settings and no support – Carsifi is good if your car fits the limited settings it offers. However in my new Volkswagen it does not auto launch and I need to manually launch it on the car head unit. Four weeks of raising a carsifi support ticket I've heard nothing. Even the firmware has remained the same for a long time, indicating they don't care about their product… Read more

anymore. I've moved to carLinkIt and got support with a solution within hours. Come on Carsifi lift your game!

Could not get Carsifi to keep connection – I bought this unit and managed to get it to connect once which was not an easy process, turned the car off and it will not connect again. I contacted Carsifi which they sent some instructions through which i tried everything. I have contacted them about sending the unit back and have not had a response after a week. I would not recommend this device Show details

Great little unit – This is a great little unit. I have had it now for about 6 months. I have had about 3 dropouts, but within seconds it has reconnected. Looking at getting another unit for my wifes car. Like all electronic stuff today. It can be improved and I am sure the developers are doing just that.

Time will tell – Plug and Play is a term often used these days but invariably some 'adjustment' is required to get an item operating correctly. My Carsifi AA adapter was truly Plug and Play. Using the app supplied with the device the installation was simply a matter of plugging it into my cars USB data port and following easy instructions, it virtually set itself… Read more ·  4

up. I had tried another similar device (Carlinkit 4.0) previously on my car (Mitsubishi Triton 2021) but the Bluetooth connection could not be established, I was forced to return that unit for a refund. The Carsifi unit cost around $130 against the $80 for the Carlinkit unit). I installed the Carsifi about 10 days ago. (Jan '23), since that time I have travelled maybe 1000km with the mobile safely tucked away in my wife's handbag. The unit has performed faultlessly in that time, just as if the mobile was still plugged in, all the vehicles infomedia screen functions, including steering wheel buttons operate as usual. It is with some concern however that I read another Carsifi Product Review from another user where his unit had failed and he has had unsatisfactory response from the maker. I guess time will tell, I'll give it some time and report back. Paul Lockyer Valley Queensland.

Started well. But then – Worked really well for 1 month, then I got the infamous Blue Light of Death. The unit would not update, connect or reset. Contacted carsifi. Got a quick response, but was pretty standard. I replaced back with a video of the problem. They gave me another response telling me to factory reset. Which the unit won't do. Then no response. 3 months later… Read more

and 3 reminders. No response. Very annoyed. Seems this Blue Light of Death is a common problem.

My advice. Avoid Carsifi. There are better alternatives out there.

wireless android auto – Ordered online and arrived 2 weeks later despite high demand fort this product. It immediately connected to my phone. I now have wireless android auto, and still have the choice to easily (just like with wired version) to switch to my car's main head unit functions. Considering what it is and the high vol of orders they are getting, i thought the… Read more

unit was priced on the high at between $150 to $190. But now to have wireless and not worry about taking my phone out and connecting to usb is one less thing i have to do each time i get into my car.
