The reason is spelled out in my review.
Can anyone tell me why I cannot connect the exhaust pipe to the ring. I have tried every way I can think of. It just does not fit, what am I doing wrong.
Nothing wrong. Just bad design. I had to jury rig a solution. I’ll take a photo on Sunday and post it here. Best regards. Harry

Hi, are the exit pipe components the same as the exhaust duct components as when in dehumidifier mode you are suppose to leave the exit pipe components off? Secondly I tried the dehumidifier leaving off the exhaust duct components and the exhaust was very warm coming out the back and fairly cool out the front is this what normally happens in the dehumidifier mode?
In dehumidify mode only it collects in a reservoir at the bottom with a small plugged exit hole to drain. In normal cooling mode the water taken from the air is used again. Best to leave the exit pipe attached.
OK now I think it means leave the exit pipe com (plug) out to drain but should I have the exhaust duct com on or off during dehumidification?
It's not a great dehumidifier really There's much better ones available . It's only got a tiny tank for water to collect in. Better to buy a specific dehumidifier unit really.
Please advise if I should have the exhaust duct components on or off during dehumidification?? I have just purchased mine and I think it is a PA280 or 10000btu (2 in one)
Hi with the PA280 model can you adjust the vertical and horizontal vents with the remote and or do they adjust automatically?
You can adjust the vertical vents only.
