I thought I'd hit a jackpot only to have my joy destroyed! – I was cleaning out an old storage box and found a jar of this amongst the coffee cups. I checked the BB date and saw that it expired four years ago. I was about to throw it out with the old tea bags and crusty sugar when I discovered that it was still sealed. Best Instant Coffee ever – Yes it's been said by others , but it's a fact. Bought it from Aldi last year, price was good enough to entice me, I like to try different brands, and although I drink mainly ground beans, this was the only instant coffee I would turn to now and again and really enjoy. I'm down to my last 3 sachets... HAAA! and now I find out it is no longer available in Australia. HAAAAA!

substitute,"L'Or" or the suggested Moccona "Indulgence" just won't do it for me,and obviously,for quite a lot of fellow coffee drinkers.Back to the grinder-but for a short while,I enjoyed Coffee Bliss.( no,Moccona,not your bland "Bliss " either...). Well done,Douwe Egberts! Paradise lost.

Best instant coffee – Best instant coffee ever. Nothing else comes close. Why has it disappeared from Coles and Woolies? Would love to find it again. Marcona and Nestles is just so ordinary in comparison.

Perfect coffee! – Carte Noire, was the best coffee ever! Amazing in every sense. However, now it's gone, and nothing, and I mean nothing comes even close to the smooth velvety taste of Carte Noire. It is a shame this coffee is discontinued, and I am less than happy about it.

This is perfect coffee. Can't live without it – The smallest amount (even 1/4 tspn) gives a great cup of flavoursome coffee. Every friend I serve it up to comments on the rich coffee taste. The other supermarket brands can't hold a candle to it for flavour and price.

Carte Noire is a very nice coffee – supermarkets bring back CARTE NOIRE COFFEE. can not understand why it gone of the shelfs.much nice coffee than any nescafe or any other brands. YOU have got to put it back in the shops other wise it is a trip to france with empty suit cases

Love the Black Card coffee! – Love this coffee-only have 2 cups a day but missing so much since Woolworths and Coles don't have it anymore. being pushed like mad in the media? Those with weak /sensitive bladders and/or tight budgets will turn to tea and cocoa! Please,bring back our beloved Carte Noire instant,but please,no price hike! My bet is Aldi will bring it in or one just as good!

This instant coffee beats the rest – I love this coffee. It's taste is top quality. It appears that al the major supermarkets no longer stock it (Woolworths, Coles, IGA) as I have looked high and low for it. Why ???? It's a winner, please bring it back!

My favourite coffee – This is the best coffee I have tried out of all of the major freeze dried coffees. It's a shame Coles has stopped selling it. Just as tasty and robust as freshly ground.

Best coffee ever. We need it back, please! – Closest thing to real espresso. I really enjoyed my morning coffee and I have not been able to find one that matches up. I cannot understand the big supermarkets, why did they drop it from the shelves. SHAME ON THEM

This is special. I cannot live witjout my Carte Noire – As somebody said Carte Noire was a very good coffee and close in taste to ground coffee. Please bring it back. Any other stockists other than Coles and Woolworths. Please please bring it back.

Best Instant we have ever had - not available in Oz anymore sadly – Great coffee. I make (made) mine with hot milk. So sad they stopped selling it. Said it wasnt selling enough? Best instant coffe – I have noticed that Coles don t stock this coffee any, maybe they want us to drink their absolutely disgusting home brand, which is coffee swept up off the factory.

I will not be coerced into buying poor quality coffee – Another example of the ridiculous power of the powerful duopolies. Do these supermarkets thin we are stupid enough to buy their home brands and nescafe just because we cannot buy our favourite quality brand. What happened to customer satisfaction?

Greatest instant coffee around - Carte Noir Classic – This was from the outset the best instant coffee I've ever experienced. up my supply and on enquiring, Coles explained it wasn't profitable enough for them so removed it despite an obvious demand. Fortunately Red Dot stores (Galleria Morley in WA at least) do stock at an even better price than Coles was so I can continue to enjoy and those having trouble finding this, here is an option if you are to be in the region of Galleria Morley as I happened to be then.

Carte Noire -black gold Coffee – It is still available at IGA stores in Tasmania. I bought some tonight at $16.30 for 200G container. Recently it was on special at IGA's here for $8.90 per 200G..I have found Coles and Woolies do not stock it anymore as Nescafe seen to have the monopoly on the shelves here. All the other brands rate very poorly to the Carte Noire in taste. Don't know what to do if it becomes unavailable but to stock up now in case !!!

The best! Where has it gone? – Finally found the best freeze dried instant coffee, everything you expect to find in a good coffee without the bitter after taste. Cannot believe it's no longer available on our supermarket shelves

Carte Noire...the best coffee ever!! TEN STARS & now unobtainable – Just when I found the best freeze dried coffee Carte Noire has disappeared from the shelves. Is it because the large supermarkets have been discouraged from stocking it by the manufacturers of more well known brands? Carte Noire is far superior in taste and smoothness to any coffe I have tried. I am devastated I can no longer buy it. Coles and Woolworths need to re-stock it.

Smooth and Beautiful – I only started to use this wonderful tasting coffee and was taken off the shelves.All my friends that have enjoyed this coffee are very disappointed.We are all hopeful that it will return.Raylee.
