Great!!!!
Found Urban Brew online just by chance and then was super thrilled to be able to get samples for the price of shipping only. I can say honestly I am hooked. I love a good coffee and this is a great coffee. Thanks guys for all you're doing. You've won me over and I will definitely be a regular customer☕️

I recently took advantage of the free offer of 10 each of Intensity 12 and 14. The flavour of both was good but the 12 was not quite strong enough for me. The 14 is perfect. I’ll certainly be buying Urban Brew pods again.

I’ve been using Urban Brew co Pods religiously for over a year now their coffee is amazing but the big part for me is their pods and packaging are environmentally friendly Im usually not some one to worry about this kinda of stuff but being from a small town where all kinds of rubbish is just buried is a huge plus.
Living in NW QLD the delivery has always been very quick and reliable.
Really loving what Toby and his team are doing
Great work guys.
Legendary Local Coffee Pods
I'm impressed. Took advantage of the free trial offered by Urban Brew as an alternative to my regular Aldi pods. The website was easy to use, the delivery was fast and the packaging had zero plastic so great for the environment.
Love that they're Aussie based and that their pods are compostable. That's an amazing feat on it's own. I love supporting Aussie businesses and feel better knowing my pods aren't going to landfill.
Taste is a personal thing and personally, I found the 12 and 14 strengths a little strong. I'm looking forward to trying some 8 and 10 strength pods to give them a go.
Keep up the great work Urban Brew

Not strong enough!! Flavour is meh
I bought the subscription for my aldi machine and realised that the intensity (12) is not even strong Enough compared to the aldi brand and also no flavour whereas the aldi brand has heaps of flavours and is strong…
Beautiful Coffee! Kind Customer Support
I enjoy this coffee so much! Also there was an issue with the shippment (the shipping company's fault) and even thought they didn't need to Urban Brew still refunded the shippment for me! Camile from the customer support team was very helpful and kind!
Show detailsNot the intensity I was hoping for
Found 8-10 intensity to be on the weaker side, the intensity 12 pods more suit the 8 range in my opinion.
Show detailsThe perfect taste and perfect price!
They taste amazing, they are a local company, they are eco friendly and for me, 45c a pod, I am living the coffee dream!
Little snag with my L'or machine but with some amazing customer service I have solved the issue.
When you first order, try a mix so you get the right balance, for instance I used to have 2 x 10 strength pods with my L'or pods but it's 2 x 14 strength with urban brew.
Great service
Despite a minor hiccup with the delivery address Urban Brews customer service was excellent & my order arrived so quickly. The coffee is great & would highly recommend.

Your website is too complicated
I have spent the last 15 minutes trying to find where to order pods and still haven't found the right page. It took me 2 minutes to find where to order with Vibe Coffee. Urban Brew need to make it easier to reorder more coffee. I am going to order with Vibe: 1. because their delivery is quicker and 2. it is much easier to find and order their coffee.

Great Customer Service and Great Coffee
I forgot to put my street address on my order twice now for my pods. Urban Brew had a new order sent within the day. If you have not tasted Urban Brew Coffee pods I highly recommend you do. It's an Aussie company with environmentally friendly pods.

We have had Nespresso coffee machines for over 10 years and have always bought Nespresso but our neighbour told us about Urban Brew about 3 years ago and we have been buying Urban Brew ever since. They taste great and are better for the environment (I hope). No issues with the extraction or getting stuck in the machine (Nespresso Creatista), they work as good as the Nespresso pods did and I like the fact we are supporting an Australian company. I buy the number 8 for my husband & 10 for me, honestly can’t fault them.

Chocolate Delight
I usually buy my pods off Nespresso but I was looking for a chocolate pod and came across Urban Brew so ordered my pods through them.
The delivery was fast easy and cheaper as well very happy customer.
I added a chocolate and coffee pod to my machine and the coffee came out tasting like mocha winning!
Great Coffee, great customer service!
I have been ordering these pods for approximately 4 years.
I have found the ordering process simple and easy to navigate. The pods are at a great price with the more you purchase the cheaper they get!
These pods are biodegradable and I can say that the intensity 10 is my delicious choice for each morning!
Overall great product, easy ordering and good for the environment!
Great coffee that is kind to the environment
I highly recommend Urban Brew. My coffee pods were delivered promptly, and I received updates from Urban Brew along the way. I love that the coffee pods are not only delicious, but much better for the environment compared to traditional plastic pods. Despite what some of these other reviews say, they function will with my Nespresso machine.

Are these pods really compostable? The lids sure seem like aluminium foil to me, and are not easy to remove, even with very hot water. I’ve been throwing the whole pod in the green waste bin, but now I’m worried I’ve been contaminating the bin.
Thank you so much for reaching out! These pods are industrial compostable and certified to AS 4736-2006 standards(Australian).
If you've got an industrial composting facility in your area, then you can just remove the foil and throw the pods into your green waste bin. The foil can be collected into a golf-sized ball and thrown into your recycling bin.
If the pod cannot be disposed of in the council green waste system, then there are 2 options.
1. The used coffee grinds can be emptied into your home compost and the pod disposed of via the normal council general waste stream. At least then the organic used coffee component has been composted correctly.
2. Alternatively the used pod including the coffee and lid, be disposed of in the normal council general waste stream. Whilst this is not ideal, unfortunately some local councils still do not have up to date policies on the disposal of products that are made from compostable resins.
Please keep in mind that this is just a temporary solution as we're still working towards a home compostable pod that can be composted no matter what your local council situation Thank you so much for your support thus far. -https://www.urbanbrew.co/blog/how-to-dispose-of-our-compostable-pods/ - Camille ❤☕
Thankyou Camille,
I appreciate your reply. I am troubled that the lids are not compostable, and that that is not made clear on your packaging or advertising. I threw many lids into the compost before I realised, and I am sure many others are doing the same, Also removing the lids is not simple...I found it quite tricky and time consuming.
Please could you either create a compostable lid, or make it very clear on the packaging and advertising material that the lids must be removed before composting. If you let me know when you have done that, I may return to buy more of your product.
Hi Sally, Adrian here stepping in for Camille. We completely understand these concerns and some great news is that we're in the final stages of having our compostable lid ready. It just needs to go through a few more tests as we want to make sure it's perfect and still delivering the high quality coffee that people love. We hope it's ready to go soon! ❤☕-Adrian
Hi there, I live in Adelaide & would like to ask why the Urban brand has been removed from the Coles shelves. Coles continues to remove items at their pleasure not the customers. Thank you for your reply. Can I make my own and use the Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine.
Hi Tony! So sorry however we have never been stocked in Coles I think you are referring to a different coffee company. We unfortunately we do not make pods for the Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine. So sorry I could not be of more help! ☕
I have intensity level 6 & the capsule is clearly stamped "use short shot". I have a Nespresso Essenza mini so would the "lungo"setting make it too watery/over extract or should I just stick to the "expresso"setting?
