Century Batteries N70ZZLXHD
VerifiedMPN: N70ZZLXHD3 reviews
Good looking but expensive – On the plus side it has the high cca but for the same amount of price you can go get a Neuton power and it does the same job. Costly
Excellent Locally Made Batteries – I purchased two Century Batteries when mine failed in my 4WD, they were a great price and they have performed flawlessly ever since. From now on, I will be buying Century every time and supporting an Aussie owned company that manufactures in Australia.
Purchased in at Supercheap Auto Physical Store for $240.
Tough built 4wd battery - 100amp – Replaced original battery in Pajero sport (Diesel engine), 3 years old - original 80 amp 622 cold cranking amps, this battery is same size battery but is 100amp and 735 cold cranking amps. Recently purchased a Century Marine battery which is also high quality and built tough so went after another Century battery - This 4wd battery is well built, about 5kg heavier than the original supplied in the car (and higher amps and cranking power) and Manufacturer says is built with Thicker full frame cast plates for extra strength, endurance and durability in 4WD applications - the extra weight of the battery over the original would indicate a more solid construction - this battery is also built in Australia according to the manufacturer.
I was having trouble with accessories etc. depleting the original battery fairly quickly which you could hear when trying to start - this 100 amp 735 CCA battery certainly cranks the car over very well and the accessories are not depleting the battery as quick - recommend you consider a battery of this type and rating if you run a 4wd and get off road as well.
The battery comes with a full 36 month warranty which is good (you pay a little more to get a battery of this rating with a 36 month warranty) - have had Century batteries before and they have generally proven to be very good batteries and go the distance, unlike cheaper versions that are not always built to the same std.
PROS: Heavy duty construction for 4wd vehicles and conditions 735 Cold cranking amps gives plenty of power and grunt for starting For Starting and semi cycling (important when running fridges and accessories etc.) Vibration resistant
CONS: More expensive than equivalent batteries (but higher rating and stronger construction)
