The bike is well made . I have done 13000klm with no issues. The engine performance suits a learner rider, and for the price and design i think is a competitive buy, being usable and quality product
2022 650MT – Purchased new from MJM Motorcycles in Wagga have now put 3000 hassle free kilometres on my new bike. It's used in a rural location offering both sealed and unsealed roads. For that reason I opted to fit Pirelli STR Rallye tyres and a pair of 36L SHAD panniers for those quick trips into town. Ergonomically the bike is on point as is the build… Read more
quality and components. Confidence inspiring to ride through very good handling characteristics and power delivery from the fuel injected 650 twin. I recommend these bikes to any rider looking for value for money in a well sorted light adventure motorcycle.
Enjoying the MT650 – Very impressed with the Mt650 , a well made bike , fit and finish is great. For my weight of 95kilos the suspension works nicely. Looking forward to strapping a bag on the back and do some touring. Show details
Great LAMS Bike – Purchased a new 2022 650MT just over a week ago and been out on it a fair bit. I'm impressed with the handling on the open road and keeps up with bigger bikes pretty well. Seat is comfy for longer rides, but haven't ridden in the rain yet (waiting for wet season to hit). Show details
Didnt even run well for 24 hours – Bought this bike after owning the older 650tk for 3 years and loved it. Picked the bike up at 4pm and Rode the bike home 60ks with no issue. The next day is where the problem started. When trying to start the bike in the early morning (4am) as this was my only mode of transport, it struggled to start. Would just keep trying then would kick… Read more
slightly. Finally got it started with a little bit of throttle. Rode to work no problem. 7 hours later it had the same problem again. So I called the dealership to express my disappointment with the issue was meant with a "that's odd" and simply told I have to get the bike to them at my expense if it won't start weather if it a warranty issue or not. Which I find it hard how in the space of 24 hours I've had the issue happen twice. I finally got the bike started and rode back to the dealership to be told they will have a look at it when they let it cool down to try replicate it. To say I'm disappointment is an undetstament, no apology is the biggest kicker.
Amazing Bike – Bought new from Sunstate Gold Coast and have been blown away by it. Good build quality, responsive engine & comfortable ride . As someone previously mentioned these bikes run hot so keep an eye on the coolant level. You won't regret buying one of these bikes and they make an amazing tourer. Highly recommended Show details
Excellent bike - exceeded my expectations – I bought the bike a month ago and so far I have been extremely impressed with the finish of the bike and it’s performance. Bosch ECU and fuel injection are probably to be thanked for the torquey engine and near faultless fuelling. The suspension and handling has also been right at the peak of “adventure bike” performance, at least for a mid sized bike like this. I am happy with the purchase and happy to recommend it to anyone else. Show details
Great bike but heat is a problem – Brilliant value for money but mind coolant level in expansion tank. They run hot!! Have 2020 bike and had no problems. Amazing value!! I have full power model. Had full licence for 47 years Show details
Scratch my head time – Ok. Before I start, lets start with the good stuff. I am now on 20,000ks of mechanically trouble free motoring. The bike has been 100% reliable. Until....... I needed to tighten the chain slack. To cut a long story short, the chain adjusting bolt snapped. I tried to remove the bolt with an extractor screw and that snapped in the bolt. So now… Read more
after 4 days I am still trying to resolve this problem and have no bike. It appears that CFMOTO put in a stainless steel bolt into an aluminium rear subframe. The both don't mix and as a result this deterioration occurred over time. This would have been resolved if CFMOTO had lubricated the bolts with a grease on assembly to prevent this but nothing. (the other bolt I managed to remove and this was totally grease free) So the options to me now are either buy a rear subframe at over $1500 or just persevere and try and drill this bolt out (it doesnt look pretty. Hole is getting bigger and I will have to get a large tap and die set to fix) or of course, second hand. So those guys that have these bikes, remove them bolts asap and put some grease on them before this happens to you.

More good news – Further update. 6,000 ks so far. Been for a day trip on the bike. 27c. Long dry twisty roads. Uphill. Downhill. This motorcycle still impresses me. It loves the bends. Good fuel economy too considering some of the speeds I was doing. Great handling and a commanding seating position. I have read reports about the engine running hot although I did… Read more · 1
not experience this. I have added three parts to the bike. 2 x genuine and 1 x non genuine. Genuine hand guards as on mk2 and mk 2 windscreen for less buffering as it is larger. Hand guards are fine although the windscreen is yellowing on edges due to sun. Haven't had it long . The original one does not suffer from this so I'm disappointed in this new part. Other part is a rear hugger. No issues with this. As I think I have stated before, I ride this bike in all weathers so it gives the added benefit of not getting a wet back.
If I remember I will update with more news soon.
