Great bike for shorter and not as strong ladies!

Great bike, easy to throw around - and reach the ground! Love the electric start. Would be good to have a kick start for a backup (new ones do), although after 3 years have never had a problem with electrics. Was ready to give up riding until I bought this bike.
Price is great! Low seat height and controllable power, but can still (almost!) keep up with the boys....
Suspension is not crash not, but for the price shouldn't complain. Does get put over some pretty rough stuff though.

It’s a good honest bike, low and easy to maintain. Good clean lines. Handles ok. Low seat height gives more opportunity for shorter people to get a (close to) full size bike. Power is good but not breath taking. With a few minor mods will give the more experienced riders lots of thrills.
It’s a good reliable bike. Has a low seat height. Easy to maintain. Looks good.
ADR lighting packages is woefull eg: lights and blinkers don't work unless the engine is reving high. The bike is a bit too heavy.

    Okay in stock form, but......

Quite good, had problems with lights when picked up from dealer. It took two months to fix the problem which was essentially the rectifier, both the dealer & Yamaha seemed to have a new story everytime. Eventually it got fixed and has not been any problem since. I have done all my own maintenance. The engine takes quite a while to warm up. If it is used for slow climbing over rocks the idle needs to be readjusted. Lack of grab handles to pick the bike up when it falls over is a shortcoming. It ia a good bike for a person who weighs less than 80kg.
    low maintenance,
too heavy for its' size, could do with about 5 more horsepower so that it can do 110km per hour up hill.
