Older rider so after something for touring with the odd gravel road. Can’t fault this bike other than the fuelling takes some getting used to and the side stand sucks. Handles well on the road and ok on gravel with standard tyres. Great value for the money.

The perfect adventure motorcycle – I was in the market for an all rounder adv motorcycle to do some touring on which would include travelling on highways, gravel and dirt roads. There's a lot to see in this big land and i needed something comfortable and manageable. I narrowed down two motorcycles, the 800mt and a well known brand, and decided to go with the Cfmoto 800MT Explore. For the money, it's got everything you need. It's full of tech. Has a robust security system which allows you to set up a geofence. Vibration sensors to tell you when your bike has been touched and a gps tracker which provides real time tracking in case of theft. Other features include pannier racks. Crash bars. Bash plate. Centre stand. Heated seat and grips. Cruise control. Lane change assist and blind spot monitoring and also a quick shifter. The tyres are tubeless. It's an amazingly comfortable motorcycle with great wind protection. It also has fully adjustable suspension. I am coming up to 4000k and so far so good. There's plenty of power on tap and highway cruising and overtaking is a breeze. I have done gravel roads and fire trails with confidence. The traction control and abs can be switched off. There are 6 ride modes giving you full control in various terrain. If you are a highway cruiser that doesn't mind getting off the beaten track to explore roads less traveled, or after something comfortable for those long two wheeled adventures, this is the perfect motorcycle for you.
