I purchased the CFMOTO i30 because we had extensive flooding happening and my Gensafe GHS2000i had done the inverter I tried to purchase a new inverter but that part isn't available I jumped online done some research and found the CFMOTO i30 was on sale for $500 off the RRP the build quality appears to be really good and definitely much better than some other cheaper ones I looked at, I put semi synthetic Penrite oil in same I use in all my petrol equipment, followed the starting procedure and it started first pull. Subsequently, it's been a really easy starting first or second time with very little effort. Checked the quality of output under various loads and the voltage is steady at 230v +/- 2v on the DVM and my scope shows a nice clean 50hz sine wave with no visible distortion. The (economy) mode seems to respond quickly and effectively to changes in electrical load. Plus I know first hand CFMOTO stand behind their products and will help their customers. Before running it a lot a did upgrade the spark plug from the torch brand to a NGK iridium CR5HiX I know that the plugs are a little more expensive but I run iridium in everything I have and never do I have a problem with spark plugs, I also upgraded the dipstick to a magnetic one especially in first 15/20 hours run in period you'd be surprised what they pickup and that will extend the life of your engine, the magnetic dipstick I purchased was from Amazon you'll need the one for the Yamaha EF2000iS, Yamaha EF1000iS, Generac IQ2000, same thread and diameter. It has 2100 watts continuous power and 3000 watts max starting power which is great for power hungry items on startup, the built in hour metre is great and the fact CFMOTO use a cast iron cylinder liner shows they've thought about longevity as a lot of other simply run alloy bores which wear out quickly especially under heavy usage.
