Smart TV – I am a 4 out of 5, 5 been the best. I have rated a 4 because this Changhong Smart TV is of the greatest quality I have come across, I have never purchased a little known brand prior to this TV as I didn’t trust in the quality I would get for the price in which I saved but the only reason I did not give a 5 is because it isn’t yet set up to run… Read more

Netflix, Stan, and a couple more pay TV networks. U have to run these through your Blueray or Xbox to be able to get these networks but that is simple so I have giving this a 4, in saying this I also trust Changhong after buying the TV that I have since brought a fridge from Changhong so I fully recommend saving your self Hundreds and taking the chance of a lesser known brand as the picture and TV is fantastic.

Great TV particularly as the cheapest on the market! – I am really impressed with my 55" 4K HD smart tv. I shopped around for weeks getting an idea on prices/what I would get for my $$. On the day of purchase I was actually looking at 49" name brand plain HD smart tv (for $150 more) when I came across this one. I asked the advice of the salesman and he said he would purchase this over the other. It… Read more

was one of only three or four 4K's on the market at the time and the size was more appealing.

It is very easy to use and even in standard HD the picture is crystal clear. The wide viewing angle is great particularly given I have it wall mounted high up (out of reach of kids). A favourite feature is my son being able to watch YouTube Kids on it from my phone, no wires etc, we literally click the icon on my phone and it switches to viewing on the tv and then he can scroll through on my phone to choose the videos.

My only gripe is that the inbuilt apps/choice of apps for this TV are pretty average. It's not such an issue as I have fetch TV but if I didn't, it is a little annoying (although it may be better with a software update, I just haven't done one for a while). I think the newer ones have better inbuilt apps too.

It's very easy to set up and very user friendly, even for me! Highly recommend!

I bought from Bing Lee and managed to get the TV mount for free as they had a 10% cashback in bing lee gift cards at the time on 4K TV purchases, so the $80 mount that could hold the weight and is highly adjustable, came free!

Great TV – Very good TV with excellent picture quality, no large frame to reduce the picture size, easy to hook up to Wifi for smart tv and all other available options. Has plenty of HDMI ports, a usb port for movies & pictures. Sound quality is so good I don't have to use my soundbar unless I want to.  Show details

Good for the price – This was the cheapest 4k tv on the market when l bought it and for what I paid l am satisfied. The picture quality in 4k is 8 out of 10 and sound is 7 out of 10. I have to say the biggest let down is the os, it's very lagging and unresponsive. The tv also requires 1-2 minutes to boot up before you can change volume or inputs.  Show details

good price and performance but slow interface..... really slow – This was pretty much the cheapest 4k TV on sale at major retailers so I was keen. screen quality is great and slim design looks slick. only major negative is that the turn on and off is painfully slow compared to my Samsung or Panasonic. the interface menu looks cheap and again it is painfully slow.... I guess it comes with the price point so I have accepted the slowness...  Show details

Love the TV – Sound is good, picture is clear, love the big screen, great with the play station games, have had no electrical problems, TV is tough and durable. Great for entertaining with friends and family, especially when the footy is on.  Show details

Good for the price – The picture and sound are good and the unit gets a lot of use. There are plenty of ports and not difficult to get to as they are on some tvs. The only issue to report is a very slow response to the remote especially when picking different media types plugged in to ports.  Show details

Great Value for Cheap 55" Ultra HD TV – This is an 55 inch, 139 cm, Ultra HD Smart LED Television, We paid $899 for this Television. Colors are very good, 8/10 Blacks are good and whites are good, 7/10 Response rate appears excellent, 9/10 Speakers are good, 7/10 HD and UHD quality on movies and computer games is very good 8/10 Smart TV is slow, little bit too slow to use it… Read more

for web surfing, but I am using it for YouTube, fine for this

TV is slow starting an have to wait couple of seconds once started to change channels, it is slow loading its system. Once loaded no issues.

Lots of ports, HDMI x 4, Ethernet / LAN Input x 1, SPDIF (Optical) x 1, USB x 2, AV Input (Audio & Video) x 1, Component Input (YPbPr) x 1, VGA Input x 1. Also has WiFi

Accepts Telecast from Phones, Tablets and Computers, it works well, but after a flicking through dozen or so photos will start to lag allot. This handy when want bigger screen to view something on the phone, photo, video, website, etc. but not good enough for doing full on holiday snap slide show, We connect HDMI or USB and for hiring online movies through phone or tablet for this with no lag or issues.

Also can download an App to control the TV from phone or tablet, works really well but unable to switch TV on from app, once TV on have all control functions.

When I went shopping for TV I wanted a LED that looked good/great and refresher rate and good colors, most of the cheap ones in this size picture looked terrible or very so/so, This was one that looked good and at the price I could see if I wanted better I would have to spend over $2,000. I did not want to spend more than $1,000. It did become a toss up between the ChangChong and a Hisense, All others did not come close to picture quality to these two. We chose the ChangChong because it was $100 cheaper.

Very happy with this TV, setup was a breeze, Picture Quality is very good, Refresh rate is excellent, accepting telecast is very handy, for the money this is hard to beat unless one decides to spend over double what this television cost.

Real Value for Money

I gave it 5 stars because for the price it is better than some TV at double the price, yes it has a couple of things that could be better, but important things such a picture quality is very good. It has excellent Price/Performance/Features for the price, real value, to get better will need to spend double the price on other brands.
