One of the worst, including Procare Group – One of the worst of the worst! Chubb have appointed an external company to handle and refute claims on their behalf in any incompetent way they see fit! https://procaregroup.com.au/ [Name Removed] from their Melbourne office was obnoxious and incompetent. Constantly spoke over, failed to listen and requested the same information that was… Read more
already provided to our broker. Repeatedly asked the same questions and was overall unpleasant. You have been warned, do not insure with Chubb or deal with The Procare Group. We will also be raising our concerns directly with Chubb Insurance. We now understand why they have a 1.5 star ⭐️ review rating!
Deliberate stalling. And unreasonable delays – Have a policy for my yacht with pantaneous and underwritten by Chubb. Put in a claim when we suffered damage in February storms at Yamba. Some 5 months later and I have had enough of the stall tactics. Will be lodging a dispute with afca this evening. Wouldn't waste my money dealing with either of these outfits
Neglecting its duty and responsibility. Shameless – Imported goods to sell (engines and generators) arrived on site and found sea water damages (16 out of 17 units), purchased insurance from Chubb China, liaised with them and told to contact local Chubb instead. Local Chubb used third party surveyor and came with a solution of auctioning the units or simply suggesting to repair them. I can't simply… Read more
repair them and sell them as a new units anymore. Note, the whole conversation went on from March to October and still has not resolved. Basically, Chubb China and local Chubb here were just throwing the ball around and left me and my company in between chasing them like mad dogs.
Cancelled, dismissed – I received an email from CHUBB Insurance stating that the Accident Insurance policy I have been paying premiums on since 1999 (and have never made a claim on) is a product which is being discontinued. The gist and tone of the email was "We're cancelling your policy and we don't owe ya nuthin'." I wrote and complained, and received a very… Read more
dismissive reply. I had requested some sort of consideration for all those years of payments might be in order. I didn't expect to get all my premiums back, as the analyst suggested I did. I was hoping for something like "Well, we can see you've been a loyal customer over more than 2 decades, we're sorry we're chucking your product in the bin, but here, have this, say, 1% rebate on what you've paid us, not because we legally owe you anything, but as a thank you, and gesture of goodwill." Nope.
In addition, since the policy went paperless years ago, I never received a single Product Disclosure Statement or Statement of Cover, just an email saying my policy was being renewed for the year, with x increase in premiums.
I can't recommend this company.
income protection. What a scam – With chubb income protection that I had for many years. Coincidentally when I actually made a claim when made redundant got a letter from them saying they were discontinuing there service. I feel totally ripped of. Just feels as though they are just in the business of scamming people. They said they would honour there deal but they did not. I wonder how many other people have the same story.
Grubby Company – Low act even for an insurance company. How many people have you ripped off and sent to the dogs with your business ethics. You'd never get your just deserts but hopefully you'll go out of business and down the drain where you deserve. Show details
Chubb is a Grubb – Chubb should be ashamed of themselves! Just saw the TV show “A Current Affair” here in Australia this evening, where they reported on Chubb refusing to pay Darren out on his legitimate policy for business disruption. Guess what I have a business and pay Chubb over $8k for Professional Indemnity. I will be renewing with your competitor next year. You people are scamming your clients and I will not be one of them! Disgusted with CHUBB – After watching ACA I checked our business insurance and found we are insured with Chubb, when our renewal is due I won't be renewing with Chubb. Why pay their insurance premiums if they just reject all claims. How can they still be allowed to trade? Why aren't the ACCC following up on this? Hopefully everyone is now checking if they have insurance with Chubb & moving to a reputable company who will payout when needed. Show details

Dishonest – Watched A Current Affair tonight about this low life company ripping off a small business owner and Aussie Battler. Personally I would never use any company bearing the CHUBB name again. Total rip offs, fraudulent, shifty and sneaky practices. They should be de-registered as a company. Not worthy or trustworthy to do Insurance. Since Chubb changed their position for this gentleman. I have since changed my review Show details · 1

Watch A Current Affair before you buy! – Wondering about the Nowra man denied cover on his business continuity policy, then stonewalling by the company. Chubb behaviour appears to be disingenious, and they have chosen to say nothing to explain their position. Show details

Great support and experience – We opted for chubb upon recommendation from the Car Lease providers ( Remserv ) . They have always been very responsive and got my queries answered very soon . Their policy document is very precise and doesnt add extra overhead .
Impossible claim criteria expectation – I have had" gold lease" protection with this company the entire time i have had my novated lease. What a scam! My husband has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer and only a short life expectancy is given. He is very ill, having had radiation and starting chemotherapy next week and i have taken time off work ( long service leave for a… Read more
month, then without pay for 6 mths or so) thanks to very supportive employer.
I thought my novated lease payments was the one certainty i had in regards to the myriad insurance policies one has to decipher through when ( if) a life changing event occurs as i had "protection" if my employment situation changed.
Aah no....
In order to receive ANY assistance from the " award" winning company, i have to resign from my job permanently, relinquish my vehicle to my lender and if, just if, my chubb lease protection policy may give me UP to 5k on the sold price.
So to put it simply,
I resign from my job and am unemployed before and after my husband dies, left without a vehicle to transport him to his drs appts and chemotherapy sessions and and then remain without a vehicle myself and as i live 10 kms out of time in a country town with limited transport, this is the acceptable conditions of the policy!
Paid money for absolutely nothing, it may be in the small print so to speak, the conditions these money hungry businesses hide under, but it is not just, moral nor fair! People take insurance out as security. I suggest that the small print component that gets missed by the masses, is actually changed to be written in LARGE print and put on the front page where it can be clearly seen and understood before we small fry, take out a policy. I am sure we would not be taken as the fools we are as the way it stands now!
So chubb, you" award" winning company, thaanks for making a devastatingly sad situation that much harder. I am totally disillillusioned by the entire insurance agency mentality as i try to navigate through this life changing and sudden event thrust upon us.
I honestly do not know who creates these conditions set up to make impossible claim criteria, no wonder insurance companies are looked on in society as pariahs! I tried to make a claim, on genuine grounds, however did not meet the drastic condition criteria as it was impossible in our situation to be left permanently unemployed ( i am 55 , do not qualify for any pension nor access to my super) and without a vehicle. How is this acceptable?
Give this " award" winner a miss. The only gong it gets is for coming first for unjustness.
No comment nor private acknowledgement from chubb, even though i submitted a complaint to their… Read more
