Too easy, who needs gas anymore? – I did extensive searches and watched youtube vids before purchasing this. I've always enjoyed Cigweld products, they know their business and do what you need of them every time. I turned this way down to 25amp and it blew through the metal I tested it on like butter. I always buy my tools larger than I need because the odd time you need to get… Read more ·  1

through something big you never regret it, plus the fact the duty cycle is much better with higher performing units. For example, this is meant to cut at 100% at around 30amps, which is way more than enough for probably 95% of your work. Keep that in mind if you were going for the less powerful unit. The guide on the tip ensures you don't touch the metal and ruin it, great idea and just makes it so easy to use, drag it along and you are guaranteed the tip is the perfect distance to what you are cutting. My air compressor has a water filter on it plus this unit has too so that should keep the moisture down. I'm happy, I certainly recommend this unit, you do get what you pay for.

Great Machine, perfect for site work – Perfect little machine to take to site or home. Super easy LCD interface and ability to tweak settings while working. Having a torch that is rated at 60amp gives the ability to really take the machine to the max. Show reply

So much power – Love this unit, was over using my grinder. I use this unit for cutting pretty much anything steel related. I have since started tinkering with sculptures I’m only a beginner but this machine has me sorted for the cutting side and so easy to use. Show reply

Mean Plasma – This machine is awesome. Have had it cut 20mm steel. Was pushing it, but got the job done. We had a BOC Cut80, but this 45 kicks it's butt! Tips and Electrodes aren't the cheapest - just need to look sftet them. Show reply

Great machine. Easy to use and powerful – The CutSkill 45 is such an easy machine to use. It's light and does such a great job cutting steel. I'm glad I purchased the unit as it has saved me a lot of time in the shed. I recommend this unit to anyone. Thank you BOC for the recommendation. Show details ·  2

Nice piece of gear – My neighbour was getting a bit upset with how much time I spend on a grinder. Really should have bought one of these things years ago. I did a lot of research and wanted a reputable brand, fair value, and reasonable duty cycle. Cigweld gear has never let me down in the past, so all the boxes were ticked. This unit has more than enough grunt for… Read more

16mm clean. Goes through 6mm and less @ 45A like your using a stanley knife. I've got 2 x quality filter/separators at my compressor outlet, and despite only using a 10m hose, the one on the back of this unit still pulls water from my air system. Pretty impressive stuff. One complaint is the lack of any drag tips being available for the Cutskill 60 torch. Hopefully Cigweld take notice and offer this in the near future. Only other thing is how long the air stays on to cool the torch after trigger release (60 seconds). 20-30 would be heaps but can't be adjusted. the work around is to give the trigger a light flick when you want the post air solenoid to shut. This is a slight annoyance but not a deal breaker. Over all, pretty happy with this purchase.

Excellent performer and good value for money – Decided to get a plasma cutter after heavy research and much debate decided to spend the extra dosh and get a CutSkill 45 from CIG. Cost more that Chinese knock offs and but stated realistic cut thickness and duty cycle. In use with 4 metre torch lead a very credible cut and performs super well up to 16 mm plate with clean cuts and no dags. Small,… Read more

light, portable and 240v 15amp plug and so far good mileage out of the consumables. Cheaper than WIA and Unimig Razor and worth the dollars. Ideal for home tradesman's workshop. Would buy again
