A Gift for my tinkering hubby – I have a husband who loves to tinker and is forever coming up with ideas on what to make out of steel .He has always used his arc welder and wanted to upgrade to a Mig Welder. With a little research We selected the Transmig 175i. The only thing I overlooked was it had a 15amp plug, and our garage has 10amp power point. No big issue we had a sparky wire up a circuit for the unit. My hubby loves it.

This machine is an absolute beast! – I bought one of these after being told this is the go to machine for mig, stick and tig for someone who wanted to go a step up into the more professional range. I can do pretty much everything I could possibly need with it. I did need to get an electrician in to install a 15amp socket. But that was expected for a professional machine.

Great machine, easy to use and set up – This machine welds everything very well in all modes. It mig welds aluminium through the standard gun and liner exceptionally well. Definitely recommend this machine as a great all rounder machine for the hobbyist and tradesman.
