really rub it through, NOT just use the "brush" as stated, wait longer than ten minutes, and try again. I will, I will give it a chance, certianly not throwing it away, but it's costly for what it "does". So, gave it another chance, blended it in well with my hand and left for THIRTY mins. Rinsed out. Nup. Didn't work. IT IS APPALLING. DO NOT BUY.

because it will NOT colour your hair a second time. It remains a one use hair dye. Do not buy this product if your intention is to use the same tube of hair dye more than once.

Sometimes manufacturers may boast about the extent of a products’ capabilities, but when it comes to hair dye, it either colours or not. I will not be buying this brand again. As consumers this is basically the only power we hold, short of taking legal action. Vote with your buying preferences and keep away from all Clairol products. If enough consumers stop buying this item, the manufacturer will eventually get the message. In the meantime, I will also be writing to Chemist Warehouse, because they stock and sell an item, which makes false claims. It reflects badly on the retailer, when a rogue product is on their shelves.

Does not work – Washes right out no matter how long you leave it in for and doesn't change the colour of your hair (greys stay grey!). Product should be discontinued. Do not waste your money on this (but if you have, use another product that works and the applicator brush - it's the only thing it's good for). Show details

What a waste of time and money – Especially went out in morning to buy a root coverage dye as I didn’t have time for hairdressers. Was going out that afternoon. Applied it, waited 5minutes longer than recommended. NO CHANGE - greys were not covered. Drawn to this product because of application bottle but it was a complete waste of time effort and money! Didn't work whatsoever - waste of time & money! – Why did I waste my money & time on trying this new product - didn't work at all. Followed the instructions & even left it on 5 mins longer due to stubborn greys and it's as if I didn't even attempt to colour my hair. Not impressed at all! Show details

The medium brown was really good But not enough product! – It worked on my hair. I left it on for 40 minutes. There was only enough product to do the roots around my hair line. I was disappointed for the price I got little product. Unless they start providing more product I will not buy it again. Show details

Clairol root touch up does absolutely nothing – Paid nearly 20 dollars for a tiny bottle of this stuff followed instructions left it on for 15 minutes rinsed it as instructed and looked in mirror only to seethe grey/white in hair was 100% the exact same as if I never used anything. Hopeless – Have used their products before, usually good, this product is hopeless. Put on for 15min as instructed, did cover the grey at all!!! So going to have to redye! Really expensive too. Waste of time and money Show details

Great Product!! Definitely recommend for prolonging that hairdresser appointment!! I would use again no problem – Great product!!! Firstly I used a light brown, I left for 10 mins & whilst it camouflaged the greys they weren't covered. The 2nd time I used medium brown, left on for double the time & it was perfect! It blended perfectly with my hair. If I was to pick I would say more product would be good but it definitely did the trick and I have thick long hair.. Show details

Waste of money – Second time I've tried this and it just doesn't cover. I only have a few greys in my fringe and even keeping it on longer doesn't take to my hair.
