Cold Power Advanced Clean – It has been such a great product up until recently. The clothes don't seem as clean or fresh, and residue of powder is left behind. I also never have a scoop in the box. It's very annoying. Will change products unless there is some sort of response and change to the product. Go back to the original. Regards Show details

It ruined my bedspread and sheets – I put my sheets in the wash and when I went to put them on the bed the sheets looked like I had bleached them! This also happened to my bedspread! These items were very expensive and have now lodged a complaint.. not happy. Show details

Don't Waste Your Money and Time! – As Mister Dad I do all the washing, so I'm always looking for better products to improve results. I decided to lash out and try Cold Power 2in1 Advanced Clean washing powder. "Outstanding Cold Water Results" is printed all over the box. Now most of us know how to wash clothes properly and would not normally have to "Read Instructions" BUT, If… Read more

you don't happen to do so on this product you will end up in the ****! Why, you may ask? Well I thought in the year 2020, there would be NO washing powders that you would have to "Dissolve powder fully before adding clothes"? Well think again! Not only do you have to do that, but also take about 5 minutes to even get close to "FULLY dissolve it"even in HOT water, Stirring, beating, mashing and whatever else you have to do to try and "Dissolve Fully", and even then you'll end up with a mud looking mash that refuses to dissolve. That's the end for me, I'm back with Aldi's excellent products. If you do use this product you'll find that brown mash all through your clothes and undies and when it dries it's like your skin has already shed and you'll need to wash them again, in something else. I've tried it in hot and cold water with same results. Never Again "Cold Power", I'm done!

Cold power perfect for average wash ;) – I use to just use cheap aldi liquid but then cold power was half price on special so tried it. If you use 3 cap fulls in a wash you can see the white in socks and smell liquid in t shirts. Best part it reminds you to wash in cold every wash saving about a dollar in hot water each time.

Love this product BUT – I love the product and have been using it for a while now but I have noticed the last few containers I have bought the capsules have been stuck together a d when you try and separate them they end up leaking and you end up losing one each time or you need to wash with two. It has become a very expensive way to waah

An old stain gone! Thank you! – A favorite shirt got stain by chocolate in Hawaii and i try everything but the stain was still there like a shadow! One day while on trip to NZ i bought that soap! I then made a wash and while folding my shirt i was not sure and asked the person with me if they were seeing a stain a shadow! Nothing! Gone! I wish i could buy that soap here in Canada! Very cheap soap but it works! Too bad my reserve is gone!!  Show reply

No laundry scoop – Searched the entire box, even used a spoon to hit rock bottom. No measuring scoop in the box. Apparently product review needs min 30 words so here is the filler... No scoop.

So bad on kids clothes! – We found a chunk of powder in our 1 year olds nose!! Cold Power needs a class action! What a horrible product that leaves powder chunks on all our clothes even after multiple washes to remove it!! We were also using ColdPower Sensitive! Avoid this product !! Especially if you have kids! Show details

Impossible to dissolve in water – Washes OK, but like every other review here my complaint is also the undissolved powder. I have used it for several years and it has gotten worse over time. I dissolve as much as I can in several buckets of water and it still leaves many granules undissolvable. I question are these additives low cost non detergents put in to add weight to increase… Read more

profit margins. Why else would you lessen the quality of a product. I will not be purchasing anymore.

Gone to the dogs – I've used Cold Power for years and not had an issue, however in the last say 6 months it is shocking. Clothes come out with white powder stains or specks of dried powder on them. I've tried pre mixing the powder with water before adding to the machine, but this makes no difference. Clearly a change in the product has been implemented to the detriment. I will not be purchasing Cold Power again. Show details

Happy to read these reviews – I have been a loyal customer of Cold Power laundry powder for more than 20 years. Unfortunately the last two boxes (I think they are 5kg each) are a nightmare. The powder does not dissolve. Leaves the clothes full of white powder. After folding the dry clothes, it leaves a lot of powder on the laundry table. The dark clothes are full of white… Read more

patches. I started dissolving the powder in a bowl of hot water, first I leave the powder in the water for about 10 minutes and then I stir for another 10 minutes - no good results either. I purchased the liquid Cold power and I am using it for the clothes and the powder for the towels and tea towels. I don't know what else beside soap is in the mixture that doesn't dissolve......cardboard? I am inclined to believe they do the latter. I am happy to read all the reviews complaining about the same issue as it shows to me that my two boxes were not a bad batch, it is probably what they are manufacturing now. I hope Cold Power reads these reviews and take action.

Does not dissolve in cold water – Cold Power and Cold Power Sensitive is quite possibly the worse product I have ever used, it has just about wrecked our clothes, it does not dissolve in cold water or even hot water, it has left white marks and granules all over our clothes, absolute joke of a product, which I will be taking back for a refund.

Does not dissolve! – This review is for the 'Cold Power Sensitive Pure Clean' washing powder. What happened to this brand? I used to regularly use it many years ago with excellent results. Now, it's a rubbish product that does not dissolve. It defeats the purpose as it's marketed as a product to be used in cold water wash, yet it's incapable of dissolving and doing… Read more

its job in cold water - and this is in a top loader filled to the brim with water on a long double rinse cycle!!! Seeing how badly it leaves grains of residue all over the clothes, I wonder if it would even dissolve in hot water. Pathetic! Never buying this rubbish again.

Absolutely dissapointed – I thought that buying a product specifically for cold water washing would have been the way to go but unfortunately this product does not dissolve in cold water and leaves white dust and particles through my washing

Continues to disappoint – So many times I have purchased cold power products, only to be disappointed! Doesn't matter what temperatures I wash in always the same result. Big chunks of white powder all over my clothes. Change the name to the washing powder that makes you wash a load 5 times to remove powder!

To much fragrance – It is cheap and does a good job for the price. I cannot stand how the clothes smell afterwards, to much fragrance. I have a house with three males, which makes it even worse. I wish Cold Power would tone down the perfume side of their product.

Upset with new formula – I have used Cold Power for years to do my washing, I had no issues with it at all, until now! New advanced formula has made me break out in tiny little itchy spots all over my body! Not happy! Now on the hunt for something else!

Just appalling! – The " new improved formula" liquid cold power is not a patch on the proven Original formulation. It's now not as concentrated and need to use 2 capfuls ( previously just 1 cap did an excellent wash) also the fragrance, if I can call it that, is bland and unpleasant, just doesn't impart the " freshness ' on clothing post wash that the old… Read more

formulation had. I can't imagine any pre-marketing ' focus group' giving their tick of approval in comparison to the original.

I can only assume this has been a cost cutting exercise in removing ingredients that made it ' premium 'because now it's definitely not . Our family will no longer buy the product and I hope that when Henkel experience a dramatic drop in sales that they will reinstate the original.

New formula terrible – Clothes smell awful, like they need to be washed. Tried to use it to get rid of a food stain but it was useless. Luckily had a small amount of the old formula and used that successfully. Not happy at all with the detergent after many years of using Cold Power.

It's crap the price you pay for it and it leaves white powder all over the clothes – Really annoyed, costs a lot and leaved powder all over the clothes. Won't be buying again, and will be telling everyone I know not to bother with it. Crap, very unhappy!

No way – Terrible. Smells awful and does not clean anything. I put my clothes in the machine to get them as dirty as before, and with no more possibilities no get rid of the dirt on it. Thanks.
