Cold Power Advanced Liquid

Immediate allergic reaction-red itchy rash – Staying at my sister in laws and have just used this for a couple loads of washing. Immediately after I have broken out in a red and very itchy rash that seems to be spreading over my body. I have never had a reaction to anything in my life before. I will need to rewash everything and hope it doesn’t have the same effect on my baby and 2 year old.

Severe allergic reaction and hospital treatment – Ended up in ED with a severe allergic reaction to Cold Power. Puffed face, swollen eyes and lips. What a dreadful experience and PRODUCT. This should be seriously investigated. Show details

Good product – If your going to buy this product make sure you follow the instructions carefully. This product is specifically make for 'Cold water' (hence the name) so only use it in cold water. Excellent – I love cold power. I changed from powder to liquid to see how it handles and if it works out to be as cheap. It has been proven that using a product designed to be used in cold water causes less wear and tear on clothing than if you were using a normal product where they recommend to use warm water in cold. if you wish. I have had no problems with having to rewash any of my clothes which I have found with some other brands. This is a product designed to use in cold water. It washes well. It smells awesome. You can buy refills instead of buying the bottles all the time. It is a bit pricy.

cold power advanced liquid is terrible – cold power advanced liquid is terrible. I did washing using the new cold power advanced liquid and my washing had a very very bad smell. It is something in the liquid. I suffer from hayfever and the smell that came off the washing made me sick. I could not stop sneezing and got very itchy. Causes hives and skin conditions – Purchased this product from coles. Whole household breaks out in hives and severe itching, and drastic skin condition to one household member. Called cold power consumer line and they want everyone to visit doctors to prove it’s their product and to cover themselves! Cold power used to have 6 ltr in big w – Cold power used to have 6 ltr bulk buy in big w. Now have 5.6 ltr for the same price and containers look exactly the same. Stop ripping off the consumer.

Excruciating dermatitis – We have been using cold power normal formula for more than ten years. I have just stared using the new formula and my son is now covered in excruciatingly itchy dermatitis. It is so bad that he is at risk of a skin infection. Thanks so much cold power!

Washed clothes smelt like a poop – I’ve been using this product (Lemon Fresh) for many years but recently, I bought this ‘New Formula’ for front & top loader without the Lemon Fresh scent. I tell you, my freshly laundered clothes smells like poop. Maybe my sense of smell is just super active but it’s not the same as the previous product anymore. I’m going to look for another liquid laundry detergent this weekend.

Smelly clothes – I use sensitive liquid in a front loader. Clothes have that ‘wet’ smell within 10 minutes of the load finishing. No change to dermititis as mentioned by other users tho.

Horrible! – My family were all complaining that their freshly washed clothes smelt foul! out that it was the Cold Power New Formula!! Yuk!!! I have now changed to another brand and haven't had a complaint since. I have always used cold power and whatever the new formula has been changed to, well its gross!

DISGUSTING SMELL – I bought this cold powder 'new formula' recently at a local shop. The liquid itself smells alright. However, after wash when the clothes and towels smell very foul. It smells like a towel that had been used to wipe sweat and left to dry. I could not believe such laundry liquid could be on the shelf commercially.

Paid for 30 got 14 – I brought cold power box of 30 sensitive I was not happy when I opened the box to only 14 sachets, I even opened the small box I had brought a few days previous even they should have been 18 again 14 I'm annoyed about it

Chronic Itchiness – Since the new formula came about my son and I have both got chronic dermatitis. This new formula has made us both so itchy and we use the sensitive stuff. Not only is your product misleading, as this clearly is not "sensitive" at all!! It caused my son huge rashes. After reading the reviews on here, I can now pin point why I can't seem to tackle this itchiness. But now I can and I'll definitely be swapping brands

Why change if the product was working really well? – The new formula is rubbish - I have been using the previous formula for years & was very happy to continue using the product. I have my first 6lt of the new formula & it will be the last - will change brands rather than put up with this inferior product I have received to replace a perfectly good product that I was purchasing.

Dermatitis – Both my daughter and I have broken out in dermatitis since your new formula on the market. Yes we have checked it out by using another brand ! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ,.? I'm really angry all this time I thought it was the dryer, and I thrown out very expensive linen, tops, undies, bras.

Dermatitis – I have contracted contact dermatitis since using the new "formula". If it is not broken, why fix it! Not happy & will never purchase cold power again. I wonder how many others have had this experience?

tried new formula and it is terrible and towels stink – normally I use dynamo but tried new formula. nothing special about cleaning quality but it did seem to do the same job of cleaning as any other laundry detergent but the smell is terrible. it smells ok going into the wash but the towels just smell like they have been wet for days now all the time. They were dried on a internal clothes line for a few days but no change. it has taken 2-3 washes back using a better product to get rid of the smell.

Sour Smell With Every Wash – I've used this product for years. Bought the new formula and noticed my washing smelt sour. Tried lots of different things - dry on line, dry in dryer etc. nothing changed. Emailed company & got a reply full of jargon but did not acknowledge the problem. Have had to change to another brand.

Clothes still smell dirty – I have using Cold Power for 14 years. This 'New Formula' has left my clothes smelling as worse than when they went into the wash. go back to separate Top and Front loader with the old formula or you will continue to lose customers.

what happened? – I have been using cold power for years - but the new formula is not as good. The old cold power was better and it left your clothes smelling fresh afterwards - but the new cold power leaves a stale smell behind.

Chemical fragrance in your product made me ill – My daughter recently bought Cold Power to use so that she could do her washing in cold water. Smell is nasty! – I thought there was something bad that had been washed with the clothes as they smelt horrible. After it happened a few times I worked out that it was this "new formula". Not buying this again - a shame as the old product was completely fine!

Don't waste your money on this "NEW FORMULA" product – Our family used old formula Cold Power "Advanced" for years with very satisfactory results... Since they changed the formula (same bottle but with extra writing "NEW FORMULA -F&T front & top loader" and removed "Advanced" branding), the product does a very poor job! Smells like vomit – My kids are refusing to wear clothes washed in the new formula because they smell like vomit. Why change the formula? Cold Power was the only washing liquid that didn't cause allergies in our house and now it is just horrible. Won't be buying it again and will now have to spend lots of money finding an alternative.

cold power new formula – Used Cold Power for years, the New Formula is terrible, no nice smell and the clothes come out like they haven't been washed or rinsed properly, stiff and hard. Terrible New Formula – I thought there was something wrong with the machine because my clothes smelt so bad after a wash; however my flatmate's clothes have been fine (he uses another brand). Absolutely terrible new formula.
