Too tough – Taste is good, but you need strong teeth to get through the crust, especially when it is one day old or more. It seems to be a problem with most sourdough breads. Dont, and I repeat dont try to make a salad roll with it as the food inside the roll will squash out the side due to the enormous pressure from biting. I do like the taste though.
