Why should replacing a toothbrush head be so difficult? There are no instructions on the toothbrush packet or on the heads. The online search directed me.......here! What a waste! Stick to Oral B. Their heads are easy to replace and last. Show details

This is the 2nd time I experienced the Coles Pro Total Battery Toothbrush. In general it was good until the battery gets weaker and slower, I replace the new batteries and it is not working anymore, it totally died. Both times I had the same issue… Read more

A lot cheaper than the oral b brand and does the job but my wife and I find the small hole down the stem of it pinches the lip and tongue! Show details

Decent value but poor case design – Cleaning mechanism and head design are good. Case design is awful. Battery removal is very difficult as enormous pressure needed tobrelease base. Exterior shape if case is ultra smooth so it slips from wet fingers. Decent value for what it does. Show details

Had 2 of them both crap. No response from Coles warranty – The first one i bought worked well but the rubber housing started to break down. I sent Coles an email to warranty 2 years ago still waiting. The second one I bought this week the head does not engage with the unit and vibrate properly...just sort of buzzes and vibrates. Tried one of their replacement heads same problem. Haven't got far enough to change batteries. What a waste of money Show details

Hard to use – I had to apply significant continuous pressure to the on button to operate. Very difficult when holding the brush at different angles to reach all teeth. Show details

Hard bristle brush – I didn't have a good experience with that toothbrush because I thought that the sensible bristle was soft but it's not. If you have a sensible teeth and gums save your money and don't buy it. Show details

Change of Operating – I've bought these for years, yes, hard to open to change batteries. Last two I have bought only operate when you keep your finger on the ON button throughout operation. Very annoying, have they changed the way they make these? Show details

Hard to replace batteries – Works fine till you need to change batteries. First very difficult to open. Then won’t work with new batteries. I don’t have any thing else to say. But won’t submit as apparently l need 30 words to submit review.  Show details

Bought it as a temp but worth it! – So, my $250 Oral-B toothbrush gave up and I had to send it away for warranty repairs. I decided to go back to my old Colgate Electric toothbrush but after having an Oral-B toothbrush where the brush head actually spins, I found that I had a strong dislike for the simple vibrating Colgate range. I decided to go to coles and have a look to see what… Read more

they had. I was going to buy another Oral-B toothbrush just as a temp however I didn't want to spend the $50 for a toothbrush that was only going to be used for a few weeks. It just seemed like a complete waste of money to me. This is when I noticed the $10 coles battery-operated "total pro" brush. After looking at it for a few seconds I noticed the brush heads looked a lot like Oral-B Brush heads so, I thought I would give it a go.

So, it's an easy to use, basic, no timer, click on/off switch unit. I used it with the brush head it came with and I was kinda ok with it. I liked it better than the vibrating Colgate thing I just spend $15 getting heads for but I felt like it didn't spin the brush head enough. I decided to then put one of my Oral-B brush heads on it and it was a completely different experience. For the first time since sending my Oral-B brush away, I felt like my mouth was clean. It actually scrubbed my teeth just as well as my Oral-B did, albeit with a little less speed, but I actually like it! I have been using it non stop, I probably will continue to use it even when I get my Oral-B back. The best thing, I now have a toothbrush that I can take with me when we go camping over Christmas as I have no fear of it going flat as I can swap out the 2 AA batteries for fresh ones.

I feel like I am crazy banging on about a $10 toothbrush however, I lost a little bit of faith with my Oral-b brush. I can just go to Coles and buy a whole new $10 unit and it doesn't matter. It's basic, it's cheap and I can put Oral-B heads on it.

Now, I will say, the Coles brand heads are rubbish and let this down. If I could not put the Oral-B heads on this brush I would have given it maybe 3 stars at a push. But I honestly am about to go and buy 2 more as backup units as they are that good!
