What happened!!!! – These nappies were amazing till they just changed. They now leak and fill really quickly. Thinking about trying Woolworths ones. A lot of people in baby Facebook sites feel the same. Just thought id try let the company know so they can review them and keep product sales up.
Rubbish – I used Comfy Bots for my baby 5 years ago and they were pretty good. I bought them this week for my second baby and the quality has definitely gone down hill. It doesn't matter how much care you take putting them on, they just do not absorb quickly enough so you end up changing whole outfits not just nappies. They just leak!
Best and cheap nappy for off and on wear during toilet training a toddler – Have been using another very well known brand nappies for my little one since birth, however it began causing my little ones bottom cheeks to be very dry to the touch and causes skin discoloration in nappy area (too much chemical???) so i began trialing comfy bots and have never looked back. PROS: - extremely affordable 10-15kg 50 nappies $11 … Read more
- excellent for off & on toilet training
- soft
- comfortable waist band and around legs
- absorbs well
- thin and flexible so not bulky or hard
- keeps pee in overnight
- does not make baby's bottom cheeks dry
- nappy stays soft although filled with pee
CONS:
- leaks when child pees a lot in a short time that trickles down the leg. Very rarely though.
- smelly after pee :)
Thanks comfy bot for this well designed and extremely affordable nappies. If you choose to improve, please go the natural way and avoid any chemicals. Thanks
Please note: child doesn't poo in nappies anymore so this review was based on pee and how well it performs :)
New and cheapened – The original were fantastic, the new and improved are absolutely dreadful. Don’t buy them. They leak. The gel seeps. They don’t fit my slim toddler anymore because the waistband is gone. They are rough and thin and cheaply made and Coles is simply cost cutting with the new design. Haven’t found a nappy comparable to old ones at a reasonable price. Aldi nappies are our current brand because babylove which are similar are too expensive.
Causes severe blistering and bleeding! – I don't know what they have changed about the nappies since removing the wetness indicator (maybe they are thinner, different materials used?) but my daughter is now suffering from severe nappy rash, blistering and bleeding very badly! Would not suggest anyone buy this product! And I used to be a fan!!
Not bad for the price – These are a cheap substitute for huggies. I used to buy huggies for a long time and then decided I wanted something cheaper as my baby was going through so many on a daily basis. I trialled the coles brand of comfy bots on my baby and they weren't too bad. Much cheaper and they are ok. A wetness indicator would be good. There is still a little rub mark that can appear on babies skin, just like huggies.
Perfect...it does the job – Used to buy Huggins since bub was small, started getting a bit expensive... looking for review and at the time Coles diapers had a good review.. tried it, it first felt like the diapers was too wet.. then they changed to new design..since I think it's has been much better.. my boy is 18 months now..used it for 6 months.. at times diapers is so… Read more
heavy and some time it leaks.. but I think it comes down to how we put it on..otherwise..no issues.. I think it's well.worth a try..
If it ain't broke don't fix it! The new design are horrendous – So upsetting. Comfy bots used to be far superior to major branded nappies. I switched from babylove to comfybots with my son then with my daughter I went straight for them. They were great until they changed them to a thinner cheaper nappy. They are very poor quality now, and the smell really bad. So disappointed. Now back to babylove. I wonder if… Read more
coles will listen to all the feedback and bring back the original comfybots nappies? I sure hope so because they were the best out there and for $11 an absolute steal. #bringbackoriginalcomfybots
Do Not Buy This Product – We changed our usual brand just once for convenience. Worst thing we ever did. After just a few days our baby got the worst nappy rash the doctor had ever seen. His skin was so red raw he cried until we applied a healing creme. Back to the usual brand and he never reacted like that again. I realise not everyone will have an experience like this, but this is what happened to us.
So bad, I can't believe they're allowed to sell these! – Trying to save a few bucks, I bought these for my two-year-old daughter. Big mistake. Big mistake. Huge. Firstly, these are so thin that there's no way that I would use these for all-night wear, but I thought they might do for the day. I was very put off by their stiff, crunchy, papery texture but still willing to give them a go. After two… Read more
day's wear we had no leaks for either wees or poos, which was a pleasant surprise, however my daughter now has a bad nappy rash. She almost never gets nappy rash and I absolutely blame these nappies.
I've also realised that buying these to save money is a false economy because you need to change them so much more often than the better quality nappies.
I will never buy these nappies again and I would strongly advise others against buying these too. I don't know why Coles allows such a sub-standard product on their shelves; they are complete rubbish.
Pathetic – Since the "new and improved" replaced the old ones we have had nothin but issues! I use to be so happy with their low price and good quality but not anymore! Sick of my daughter waking up soaking wet in the middle of the night and having to change her clothes and bedding then try and get her back to sleep. As well as the crystals in the nappy leaking out all over her little bum! What a disappointment! Will no longer buy them.
Comfybots - from excellent to rubbish – Tabs tear off, continually leak , leave red marks on my child's legs. I also have a 5 year old bedwetter. The 15-25kg nappies were fabulous. The new and definitely not improved nappies no longer fit due to skimping on the size. So disappointing!! Cutting costs not clever Coles!! Now shopping elsewhere.
I used to love Comfy Bots – The previous design was fantastic, why change something that is already good?! These 'new and improved' nappies feel cheap and nasty, they leave awful marks on my little boy's legs and they leak. Please change them back to the originals! I'll be buying Little Ones from Woolworths until Coles come to their senses.

Know better, choose better.
Great cheap nappies – At first didn’t like that they changed these. They are much thinner, slightly larger sized and I found they left red marks on my baby's legs, compared with the old version. So I avoided for a while. Then one day used one again on my now 2 year old and had no more red mark issues. It’s the only nappy we buy now. I actually prefer them being thinner… Read more
for an active older toddler and they are still very absorbent. So I guess it depends on the child’s body shape. I’ve found with nappies we’ve changed brands over time to suit current needs.
Disappointed – I always buy comfy bots for my little one because besides it's affordable it is also good for his gentle skin. But last week we bought a new pack and saw that the packaging was change. No worries about the packaging. But the nappy is not the same as before. I have to change my little one's 3 times at night when I only had to change him once. When… Read more
wet the cotton inside gets crumbly and moistured and my baby's had rashes now. I would suggest to bring back the old nappy. Not this new one. Thank you.
Horrible – I am with everyone else. They used to be great. Now they are rubbish. I just took mine back to coles where I had to fight for my refund. Unless you go back to old design you've lost a happy customer. Baby love will now be getting my money. Why change something that worked? I hope you listen to these reviews and go back to the nappies we all loved.
New improved, not so much – After using these nappies for a year and being happy with them, its now time to find alternative.. not new and improved. They are terrible. My baby's bum has started to break out. First ever nappy rash and first time doing a totally change during night as she was completely soaked through. Finding little wet absorbent beads stuck to her wee bum cheeks at every change...why change a good product...
Why change a good product? – The new and so called "improved" nappies are just terrible. They are thin, leak, stretch out too far on my toddler and the little water absorbing beads end up all over her and are hard to get off with wipes. She is still wet which means they don't absorb well at all. I loved and used the original comfy bots since 2013 with my firstborn and would… Read more
have used them a lot longer if they hadn't changed it! Very disappointed and you can't actually ring a customer complaint number to tell them. You just have to take it back to the shop and get a refund. Now I have to find another brand that was economical and as good as the original comfy bots
The new and improved nappies are useless – Your new and improved nappies now dont fir my son comfortably around his stomach like it used too. Im constantly worried he may leak as this new design feels cheap and nasty. I preferred comfy bots but now im considering a new brand unless you change back to the previous ones. These feel and look very similar to aldi and i changed to comfy bots for the same reasons.
