That Contempo Food Processor is good til the motor stops working. The earlier model motors that don't have a symbol on the top button are much better and never had what is written in the later models manual. The latest model Contempo blenders for $29 in Big W are inferior made in China appliances that don't last and can't handle everyday continuous use. Look at what the instructions manual says. Who can be bothered with timing out 30 seconds every time you use the blender then have to stop using it when you have a few things to chop up? The earlier model motors you didn't have to do that. The later model Contempo blenders just stop working for no reason. They are very poor quality. I don't recommend them. Not a fake review.

Purchased in at Big W Retail Stores for $29.

Liquid WILL get into motor unit, almost impossible to clean – You won't notice it the first few times, but if you use it on anything liquid, it WILL splash up into the motor section, and the only way you can clean it - or even see the mess at all - is to disassemble the motor. There is no seal between the mixing bowl and the rotor/motor, it's just hard plastic cutouts with plenty of space for droplets to splash up. I just used it for the first time in a few months, and after a few seconds of mixing a horrible brown liquid started dripping down from the center of the motor unit - everything that had splashed up there previously and dried was getting wet again and leaking down. Absolutely disgusting, and unbelievably poor design.

Purchased at Big W for $30.

Little beauty – The best chopper I ever had, easy to use and easy to clean I absolutely love it. I chop onions, fruit, herbs and really everything except hard nuts. But I chop macadamia nuts with it no problem.

Nice small chopper – Chops one big onion in seconds after cutting with a knife in four quarter pieces. Cleaning is easy with just 3 parts the lid, blade and glass container. I like raw onions with uncooked cheese on rice cakes, as no cooking is really needed because heat can cause cheese and onion to be too acidic for the poor stomach to digest and results in most of the food being undigested.
