Dangerous – These tires proved to be the wrong choice from day 1. Too soft in the sidewall vehicle rolls and wallows down the road. From about 20000kms they started splitting the tread i have replaced 2 already and will be replacing a third soon as another has split.
Excellent Choice! – I am very pleased with these tyres. I bought them for my Pulsar whilst 4 tyres were being offered for the price of 3. They are extremely quiet and that is what I set out to buy, - tyres with little or no road noise. My car feels just the way it did, the first day I drove it out of the Dealer's showroom. I am impressed with cornering, it seems like… Read more
the car is on rails.
Perhaps these tyres are not made for gravel and unsurfaced roads, or for high speed driving and cornering, - but for the average suburban/city driver, they are a good choice. Make sure you get as wheel alignment and balance at the sale time. It is assuring to read that owners have managed to get more than 55,000 KM out of them.I would buy them again. Price and quietness
Poor quality and dangerous – These tyres were OK until they got down to about half worn. Then one blew out at high speed, one got a sidewall split and three had multiple punctures and splits in the tread. I do drive on unsealed roads occasionally, but have never had any such trouble with any other tyre brand. Suspect they are very cheaply made. Are they really German? Self destructed prematurely
Excellent – If you take care of them, they will take care of you. I will always buy these tyres, btw, I got 2 on my Echo 3 months ago and I love them. I've got 4 on my mazda 323 Protege and I've done around 55.000km so far and there's still meat for at least 30.000 for sure. I've rotated them every 10.000km though and I check the pressure every 2 weeks.
Good tyres if you don"t have to turn – I put them on the front and disliked them so much I swapped them to the back were they are not too bad but if they wear out quickly I won't be crying. They were on sale at $130 fitted Cheap for Conti but made in Malaysia. Soft side walls . Under steer . Body roll. Comfort should have warned me. Get the Comfort 5 or the premium.
Good – Buying these Continentals is like going into Mercedes Benz wanting an E63 but buying a C220cdi. You came into the best manufacturer but strangely bought a boring thing that is hoo hum. Reliable and whisper quiet but Gumby decision on my part, buy them for your wife and you will be confident in your choice. I dont know exactly they are good kit… Read more · 2
and the car feels like it floats when doing the motorways and the only noise you hear is the wind at high speeds. They are boring, they look boring, they are the wall flower of the tyre world. I have a e39 M5 and bought the beast the Gumbiest of tyres, why? Floats down motorways and irons out Sydneys back roads but death wobbles along Bells Line of Road at enthuiastic speeds/turn ins.

Happened to my dad's car. A tyre (rear-right) blew while cruising on the highway.
