The sound for the Stage Air is not terrible, considering it's size. Not amazing but okay for what it is. Feature wise, it has Bluetooth, analog input and you can shove a USB stick in, to play MP3 files. What I'm missing is using it as a USB audio device connected to a PC, so I don't have to use its unreliable BT. Unfortunately the control button… Read more

area is all black, so especially under muted light, it's impossible to see what the buttons are for. This is just bad design. Another bad feature is that the Bluetooth every now and then, randomly disconnects. Pobably too sensitive to interference. However, its most annoying feature is that every time it's powered up, it blasts out a message at hight volume: "Pairing mode. Waiting for device to connect." What's more, short of hacking its firmware, this is impossible to disable. Why, oh why, Creative Labs?! Why so loud? If I power up late at night, intending to listen at low volume, it wakes up the entire house. When it's connected to a PC which is always on and I forget to switch off the Stage Air after use, it randomly disconnects and when perhaps much later decides to connect again, it blasts out the same message, freaking everybody out, thinking somebody has invaded the house. In any case, if it is so freaking important to make this announcement, why doesn't it close that with "Device connected" or something? It gives the impression it's still trying to connect. (There is the blue LED to confirm connection, of course.) An idiotic feature, "Creative" Labs!! It just totally ruins the user experience, together with the BT unreliability. Some may consider this a small annoyance but with so much competiton out there, I just removed Creative form my buying list, after a long history of buying various audio products from them. I've already brought a similar product from a different brand. A much happier experience.

Small Package Smaller Sound – I bought this product to partner with my new mini Mac so I was very excited to install it. Right from the start something was missing. Was it Bass? Was it Mids? It was everything. I’m gutted on how poor this product performance is. On a positive note this device has may differ inputs from a USB C, Bluetooth and audio 3.5mm jack but I did find it hard to switch between different inputs. Show details

Good budget PC speaker – I was looking for a minimal PC speaker to use mostly for music and gaming at the right price. Found the Creative stage air and it was a good fit. The price was just right, note there is a v2 version now. Pros: - Decent sound, mids and highs are pretty clear, I use it with my laptop closed, so an external speaker works better. Base is not the… Read more

best, but can be boosted via eq - Minimum desk space: I have it under my monitor and it doesn't take up any space. I much preferred this than having 2 speakers that take up more space, plus more cabling! - I've tried a few other speakers, which some produce static noise when not in use. This one does not do that, its nice and clear.

Cons: - It has a bright green LED light thats always on, not quite necessary and it really is bright at night time

Notes: - It has bluetooth which I guess makes it portable, but its design/shape does not make it all that useful for portability. I guess its more for wireless configuration. - I mainly use it via AUX so not sure on bluetooth quality. Note it uses bluetooth 2.1, so if you care about bluetooth, buy v2 - I bought v1 over v2 due to its smaller size

Sounds are ok but signal is terrible – Consider the price, sounds are good, it's clear and bass is ok. Buttons are easy to control, simple to use. But bluetooth signal is terrible and the device keeps turning itself off while connected to phone and playing music. Bluetooth signal is interferred by other nearby bluetooth devices. It must be the only bluetooth device in its place, or if… Read more

there are only 1 or 2 bluetooth devices in the room, place it far away from others. So despite the low price, it's not worth buying as we have to deal with it all the time.

Not bad for the price – When it works, the sound is actually pretty good. Bluetooth seem to lose connectivity a few time in 1.5 hrs using the PC. Bluetooth via IPhone 11 Pro is much more stable. Not sure because I am still charging the sound bar. Despite that; it connected easy to the PC and IPhone. I only wanted a simple sound device which is decent to listen, easy to connect and under $100. Show details
