Run straight to Bose, don't waist your time with this useless – I have not used my email that is connected to my existing account and login in password for over 6 years. I finally need to reset my system and I'm unable to connect because I no longer use the old email which I initially signed up with, nor do I remember my password. Cut a long and frustrating story short, I have tried 2 attempts to explain my… Read more

situation to support, no help other than delete my account as they can't assist me without verifying me email, which is no longer in use since 6 years ago. They have no way to verify their customers other than using a stupid email, this ridiculous. Don't buy this scrap, it comes with connection issues, if you change you r email without remembering to change Sonos then is see ya beam, in the bin you go! I'm going to Bose

Wouldn’t recommend – We have a Samsung and Sonos. Sonos looks good and sounds good however the Samsung is more reliable. Sonos updates and lag is ongoing. Wouldn’t recommend for the price.

Actual product reviewed is the Beam Gen 2 – We got this to replace an entry model one from another brand which wasn't much better than the TV speakers! The difference between this one and that was night and day. Even without a sub the mids and lows are decent. Soundbar is well built while being sleak and subtle. The only downside is you will eventually feel the need to expand your setup, have already added the sub and will probably add surrounds eventually Show details

Fantastic quality – Software is excellent. Found, set and tunned surround speakers and base perfectly with no issue. The beam picked up all speakers first go! tested them etc and never dropped out! The sound is more subdued until the screaming starts and then it seems more controlled but just as good. The bass from the sub is excellent. Also the looks. Very stylish… Read more ·  3

and small. Only thing vocal are great and below but would like the rest of movie to be quieter without writing vocals. Some functions to help with this though.

Bedroom Soundbar? Get this! – I bought this for my bedroom so I could enjoy the Movie experience in comfort. I seriously love this thing. I bought a couple of SL speakers to compliment it and that just completed it. I love that I can set my BEAM alarm to wake up to any radio station, namely SEN Sport in the mornings. It integrates easily with my LG OLED and Apple TV. It's the perfect soundbar for a bedroom. Show details

I recommend NOT buying!! – Constant app updates are required, system loses connection to speakers frequently, when trying to reconnect it cant find system. The amount of hours i soent constantly trouble shooting and trying to use sonos is not worth the trouble . We soend more time fixing than listening. Rubbish app, not user friendly and highly frustrating considering the top dollars you pay. I expect far more Show details

horrible experience with the sonos beam – We wanted a quality sound bar for our new Samsung TV. We picked the Sonos Beam because it was rated highly and it sounded ok on display. Unfortunately when we tried to connect it with HDMI ARC we failed. We spent 5 hours trying to get the thing to work but couldn't it the end. The sonos app on our phone couldn't recognize our router. The Samsung… Read more

TV could see the HDMI ARC connection but this dropped out later. DON'T buy this sound bar if you want a simple plug and play with either HDMI ARC or Toslink. It's an unnecessarily complex system that has many features that most people won't want or use. Got a decent Yamaha sound bar instead. We we're lucky that The Good Guys were good enough to take the SONOS Beam back. This was my first experience with SONOS and it affected me so badly that I will steer away from the Brand for ever.

Expected more to be honest – Sounds well, adequate I guess. To be fair haven’t had it very long. Much better sound from an ancient plinth tv speaker it replaced frankly. As an old hi-fi guy I expected a lot more for the money. It’s not awful, but I wouldn’t buy it again, I’d look at other options. By the way I have other Sonos gear that I’m happy with. I just think this thing might have been overhyped. Maybe I got a dud… Show details

Quality sound all the way – Sound bar that gives great sound and is just as easy to use as you could hope for. Combined with a sub and 2 rear speakers it is awesome. No wires, no hassles. You get what you pay for. Show details

Great stand alone soundbar – Purchased this around 1 month ago as we wanted to avoid having multiple speakers throughout our living room. I've been very impressed with the sound quality given it's size, and it fits in well in front of out TV. Would recommend for those looking for a mid-range soundbar for a small to medium sized room Show details

Brand new Experience for me – Bought from The Good Guys just before Christmas 2021, easy to set up with 2 Sonos SL One speakers for surround sound, just receives the speaker stand today so now all complete. Very happy with the purchase so far, works very well great sound, well worth the money and a huge improvement over TV speakers Show details

Great sound throughout – We have the Beam, 2x One, and a Move. Moving through the house with music everywhere is amazing. The biggest benefit (living in a townhouse) is you don’t have to have the music loud as it’s always near by. I do have 3 small issues that I have not yet been able to work through. 1. Sometimes (not all the time) the TV seems to go through a complete… Read more

android reboot taking up to 2 minutes to switch on. Other times it fires up straight away. It seems very random and difficult to isolate. 2. When using the app to control Spotify, it struggles to find some of my playlists. 3. Using the google assistant to control Spotify music is really hit and miss….we have listened to some random music that ordinarily we wouldn’t have. The most disappointing thing is that having had the system 3 months, I have not been able to understand the logic and correct these things.

Awesome unit – Did some research and it pointed me in the direction of the Sonos which I had not heard of. Went and checked out the beam and was amazed at how good the sound was. My only concern was that it may not be loud enough for my family area. Well i bought it and found it is more than loud enough. This small unit is amazing. It does not come with a sub… Read more

woofer but for what i use it for it does not need it. If it was in my theatre room I wood get the sub woofer.

It was easy to set up and works from my TV remote so I don't have anther remote cluttering the coffee table. The added bonus with this unit is you can add Google Home Or Amazon Alexa to it. This is great as I can now turn the TV on and off with voice command and run my music through it.

Just a great unit and would not get anything else now.

Great product - Highly Recommended – The sound at is easy to set up and literally does exactly what it says. It interested seamlessly into my existing Sonos ecosystem and hasn’t skipped a beat! My only bugbear is that it has an ARC HDMI port but doesn’t allow for optical audio input. Highly recommended. Show details

Great speaker that enhances sound on all levels – So before buying this speaker I viewed a lot of reviews on the beam as I wasn’t sure to go Bose or not even though I had a play 1 after spending two hours playing it in store boy am I glad I went with Sonos. I wouldn’t say the room it’s in is small by any means but this speaker packs a punch, it has a clear crisp sound which coming from a music… Read more

background I love. You know it makes a statement when guests come around and tell you there is no way that sound is coming from that speaker and when I turn it open they are shocked. I was worried there wasn’t enough bass or it wasn’t going to be loud enough IT IS trust me. If you are on the fence on buying the beam just buy it you won’t regret it love it.

Sonos beam + 2 X Sonos one SL's = ultimate home theatre experience for bedroom – It's like the Tesla of speakers. I needed an epic sound solution for the bedroom. Being in an apartment, it can't be overwhelming as to not disturb neighbours. But we still wanted cinema experience at any volume. After testing many soundbar and surround systems, the Sonos sounds very different, in a really good way. Even in low volume, it sounds… Read more

so chocolatly, clear, great bass even without the sub. It's so hard to explain and testing it at a shop does not do justice. You need to install it in a room to really understand what its capable of.

I highly recommend getting the 2 X Sonos One SL for such an amazing room filling surround experience. (There is a setting which increases their volume by setting the distance, I recommend setting it to max distance even if your speakers are close)

The integration with my TV supporting HDMI ARC was seemless. No adjusting settings in TV. Samsung, JBL and Klipsch were buggy, but Sonos had no such issue.

Integration with Google assistance was perfect. I threw out Google mini, as all functions worked with Sonos. YouTube Music works but on the phone you need to use the Sonos app to cast. The Sonos app does however allow use of multiple YouTube music profiles so it all worked out.

I'm certain these speakers will last for years and will have great resale value. It's truly feels like the future of speakers, like a Tesla.

Sweet sound, very smart – I've had home theatre systems for 20 years. All were too complicated, too many wires, too many speakers..I wanted something that sounded good and was tidy and smart. This took 15 minutes to set up using one power cable, one HDMI cable and a very intuitive app. It has no remote, bless them (use the Samsung TV remote). It comes on when the TV comes… Read more

on. That's it. Choose Spotify, your music files of any radio station on the app and it mutes the TV and plays what you have picked. That's it. It looks very neat and has a beautiful sound. I will not produce ground rattling surround sound, just enough for you to enhance any movie in a mid sized room.

Won't Connect to Wi-Fi – I recently purchased a Beam, sound is good through my TV. But when I tried to play music through my phone or Mac it wouldn't connect to my wi-fi, tells me that the password is wrong. Average sound quality – I have Sonos Play, Sonos One and a Bose 700 soundbar, and all of them are quite good. Recently added Sonos Beam from to our second TV but the sound quality is disappointing. Even the basic Sonos Play & One are much better in performance. Of course, this is no match to Bose 700. What is still worse, the TV speakers of our 12 year old Panasonic are… Read more

better in performance and we prefer to use them rather than the Beam. I collected this one from Harvey Norman and the packaging was double, the outer one being a normal carton which stated sender was Sonos Australia and receiver Harvey Norman. I only hope it wasn't a refurbished or repaired piece as the Sonos product have otherwise been quite good.

Stunning Product – This product comes in a quality package. Build quality is first class, it is beautifully designed & a perfect match for a recent purchase of a 43" Samsung TU 8000 TV. multiple devices & the sound is as good as a Bose Sounddock (HIFI buffs may disagree). I have not used voice activation & have no inclination to do so. For a $500 product, this is a serious game changer. The dialogue boost is extraordinary, especially for us older consumers, bass is powerful, so forget the expensive boom box. We have gone from, 'What did they say?' to 'I can't wait for the next episode'. This is COVID approved!!!

Amazing product for the sound lover on a budget – Amazing sound and great integration with multiple devices at an affordable price. I’ve had the Sonos Beam for a few months now and it is no doubt the best investment the living room in my small 2-bedroom unit. The sound is very clear for both voice and music and the bass is satisfactory for a small unit. I love the brand so much I ended up buying a Sonos One for my bedroom.  Show details

Great sound. I wish it had a couple more buttons on it though – Great soundbar on my tv that has shown just how bad my tv speakers were. Sound is very nice and the volume range is way better. Great sound extension for your regular tv but still with teething issues – While the sound is generally great - it's not always so reliable. I have found the HDMI ARC takes a couple of seconds to connect every time I turn on the tv - this includes taking the tv off standby. We used to turn the tv completely off in the past but that seemed to mess up the connection to the Sonos in that the sound didn't match the speaking. Maybe I just have a faulty Sonos as the Phillips tv is less than a year old. Show details

Great sound quality at a reasonable price – It is a reasonable size which fits great if your tv unit isn't long. The sound is impressive given its size and price. Awesome soundbar, love it works with Apple AirPlay – My old soundbar stopped receiving sound from the TV, so odd. Anyways, I had heard great things about Sonos from friends and bought the Beam. Great sound, pleasantly impressed – We didn't want to buy a big system for our smaller living area so were keen to see what a sound bar could do. A wonderful soundbar even if a little weak – I have found the sound from the Sonos Beam to be excellent. I pair it with 2 existing Sonos Play:3 speakers to provide the surround sound. Fantastic sound bar with Voice Control – I received the Sonos Beam as a Christmas present.
