Sonos beam + 2 X Sonos one SL's = ultimate home theatre experience for bedroom
It's like the Tesla of speakers.
I needed an epic sound solution for the bedroom. Being in an apartment, it can't be overwhelming as to not disturb neighbours. But we still wanted cinema experience at any volume.
After testing many soundbar and surround systems, the Sonos sounds very different, in a really good way. Even in low volume, it sounds so chocolatly, clear, great bass even without the sub. It's so hard to explain and testing it at a shop does not do justice. You need to install it in a room to really understand what its capable of. ...I highly recommend getting the 2 X Sonos One SL for such an amazing room filling surround experience. (There is a setting which increases their volume by setting the distance, I recommend setting it to max distance even if your speakers are close) The integration with my TV supporting HDMI ARC was seemless. No adjusting settings in TV. Samsung, JBL and Klipsch were buggy, but Sonos had no such issue.

Expected more to be honest
Sounds well, adequate I guess. To be fair haven’t had it very long. Much better sound from an ancient plinth tv speaker it replaced frankly. As an old hi-fi guy I expected a lot more for the money. It’s not awful, but I wouldn’t buy it again, I’d look at other options. By the way I have other Sonos gear that I’m happy with. I just think this thing might have been overhyped. Maybe I got a dud…

Sweet sound, very smart.
I've had home theatre systems for 20 years. All were too complicated, too many wires, too many speakers..I wanted something that sounded good and was tidy and smart.
This took 15 minutes to set up using one power cable, one HDMI cable and a very intuitive app.
It has no remote, bless them (use the Samsung TV remote).
It comes on when the TV comes on. That's it.
Choose Spotify, your music files of any radio station on the app and it mutes the TV and plays what you have picked. That's it.
It looks very neat and has a beautiful sound. I will not produce ground rattling surround sound, just enough for you to enhance any movie in a mid sized room.

Won't Connect to Wi-Fi
I recently purchased a Beam, sound is good through my TV. But when I tried to play music through my phone or Mac it wouldn't connect to my wi-fi, tells me that the password is wrong. I called customer service (only open Mon-Fri business hours), hey walked me through the connection and told me the issue was something to do with 5G settings. It's Saturday and it's happening again, I have a party later on and there is no customer service available to connect me again. I have no idea why it won't accept the wi-fi password when playing music, when it connects immediately through the TV (same password).

Average sound quality
I have Sonos Play, Sonos One and a Bose 700 soundbar, and all of them are quite good. Recently added Sonos Beam from to our second TV but the sound quality is disappointing. Even the basic Sonos Play & One are much better in performance. Of course, this is no match to Bose 700. What is still worse, the TV speakers of our 12 year old Panasonic are better in performance and we prefer to use them rather than the Beam. I collected this one from Harvey Norman and the packaging was double, the outer one being a normal carton which stated sender was Sonos Australia and receiver Harvey Norman. I only hope it wasn't a refurbished or repaired piece as the Sonos product have otherwise been quite good.

This product comes in a quality package. Build quality is first class, it is beautifully designed & a perfect match for a recent purchase of a 43" Samsung TU 8000 TV. The most annoying aspect of the setup was setting up the account on a bloody phone.... Once operating, it paired easily with the Samsung remote. I can connect Spotify easily from multiple devices & the sound is as good as a Bose Sounddock (HIFI buffs may disagree). I have not used voice activation & have no inclination to do so. For a $500 product, this is a serious game changer. ...The dialogue boost is extraordinary, especially for us older consumers, bass is powerful, so forget the expensive boom box. We have gone from, 'What did they say?' to 'I can't wait for the next episode'. This is COVID approved!!!

Amazing product for the sound lover on a budget
Amazing sound and great integration with multiple devices at an affordable price. I’ve had the Sonos Beam for a few months now and it is no doubt the best investment the living room in my small 2-bedroom unit. The sound is very clear for both voice and music and the bass is satisfactory for a small unit. I love the brand so much I ended up buying a Sonos One for my bedroom.

Cheaper that I thought for a name brand and an attractive unit, small but has plenty of base and quality effects from a big TV it's attached too.
Looks good, sound good and well priced.

Great sound. I wish it had a couple more buttons on it though
Great soundbar on my tv that has shown just how bad my tv speakers were. Sound is very nice and the volume range is way better. I use Google Assistant with it and that works OK for most of the time. Can be frustrating if it drops off the wireless network. An on/off button to reset it would be handy! Took some internet searching to get the help necessary to make it work with my LG tv (I suspect this would be the same for any tv). I use it with spotify, etc and to stream radio. Overall - good for the price and I am generally happy.

Great sound extension for your regular tv but still with teething issues
While the sound is generally great - it's not always so reliable. I have found the HDMI ARC takes a couple of seconds to connect every time I turn on the tv - this includes taking the tv off standby. We used to turn the tv completely off in the past but that seemed to mess up the connection to the Sonos in that the sound didn't match the speaking. Maybe I just have a faulty Sonos as the Phillips tv is less than a year old.

Always wanted one, didn't think i needed one. I was wrong. Love it, never listened to as much music in the lounge. Music & TV sound is superb & can turn the TV on by talking to it.

Great sound quality at a reasonable price
It is a reasonable size which fits great if your tv unit isn't long.
The sound is impressive given its size and price. You can play music from your Spotify directly without having to switch your bluetooth on.
The soundbar stays on stand-by hence is ready to play your music at any time. Volume can be controlled from your phone if playing from your phone.
It is very easy to setup to the tv. You can control the sound from the sound bar from your tv remote.

Awesome soundbar, love it works with Apple AirPlay
My old soundbar stopped receiving sound from the TV, so odd. Anyways, I had heard great things about Sonos from friends and bought the Beam. Setup was easy enough but it is not 2-3minutes as claimed, the phone app driven process is 30 min. Besides this disappointment, the Beam is awesome.
I have installed Alexa and that is handy, eg Alexa volume up.
I love the Sonos Alarm which wakes me up every morning, I have selected a radio station.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.
I'm an Apple fan, so I use Airplay to transit all sound from my iPhone etc.

Wish we bought it sooner
We recently replaced a 12 year old Yamaha home theatre system with the Sonos Beam and to say we are impressed is an understatement. I cant believe the sound that comes from such a little device and didnt need cables all over the living room.
A mate was raving about his Bose system but we felt the sound of the Sonos is much clearer, although the bass could be more. We absolutely love it but wish that it would auto shut off to save some electricity.

Great decent soundbar
Great quality, easy to use and set up. Although it doesn't have amazing bass, it's great if you live in a modest size home as it's all you need. Good quality and easy to link with other Sonos products.
Purchased at Myer for $520.00.
Great sound, pleasantly impressed
We didn't want to buy a big system for our smaller living area so were keen to see what a sound bar could do. Sonos was by far the best sound bar we tested in store and went on to purchase. Easy set up and great sound. We will now consider a sound bar and sub from Sonos for our larger living room.

A wonderful soundbar even if a little weak
I have found the sound from the Sonos Beam to be excellent. I pair it with 2 existing Sonos Play:3 speakers to provide the surround sound. The setup was super easy and it works flawlessly. I am looking forward to the Google Assistant integration in Australia (rather than Alexa). I find that having the volume around 50% is sufficient for most movies (and around 30% for music) - although there have been times when I have had to turn it all the way up for a truly big sound - and once or twice I have hit the max and would have liked a little more room to pump it up. That is rare, and the space is quite large (42sqm).

I was looking for a soundbar and shopping for decent ones, however come across Sonos and I bet no one can go to other brands once you hear them. To add more now i have Beam for TV and Sonos Play 3 for room. give it a try and wont be disappointed. Sonos support is great too, always willing to help.

Good but sometimes glitches
The sound quality is pretty good with the build quality being excellent. Where the device can sometimes lack is the promised google support (not working) and the device occasionally disconnecting from the Alexa service and not properly reconnecting.

A must have soundbar for your living room..
A great soundbar with Alexa built in.
Sound quality is excellent with clear stereo separation and deeper than expected bass.
Volume levels are awesome with exceptional voice clarity.
Perfect for small to medium living rooms with large LED TVs.
