Check absolved themselves of any responsibility by advising they had no control over what was reported to them, and changes to NDIS related legislation required any previous infringements be reported. They sent me on an email nightmare to the relevant Police who then referred me to the Court Registry to try to have record removed. After numerous emails, the Police finally advised that the infringement was that old, all records had been archived and destroyed, the infringement had been paid and should not have been reported on my Police Report. Crime Check disputed this and insisted the infringement remain on report. Rather than explain to employers that I am not in the habit of collecting or ignoring traffic infringements, I have made the difficult decision to cease employment as a Learn to Swim Instructor. Good work Crime Check!

I will never use them again! Paper form at Australia Post much better. Lots of drama with my recent online application, very rude and arrogant service agents. Disgusting!

Quick and easy although it does take longer than the few minutes they tell you it will take. You have to get your documents together photograph them and pay. Certificate came in 2 days.

Crime Check Australia – Good and quick service. Required for many different jobs. If you want to open up the amount of jobs you can apply for, pay for a Crime Check Australia certificate.

Not clear that I wasn’t dealing directly with Vic services. I paid $40 more for a police check required for a charity organisation than I would have if I had gone directly. Buyer beware

No telephone contact possible, email only. I uploaded high quality images of what they requested and now they are asking for the images to be uploaded again, and stating the reason for requesting a check is not valid. the process, or maybe a refund- Their response was the have cancelled the police check and refunded the fee. That was about two weeks wasted. Now I have gone through Services Victoria, more expensive but Crime Check Australia is cheap for a reason!

I stupidly clicked on this website thinking it was service NSW . Big mistake. Needed to reply to 2 further info request emails over the following day and now has gone to “manual review”. This could take another 2 weeks. All for about double the price of service NSW which has same day turnaround. I’m still waiting on the check and they refuse to refund me.

Use Service NSW. Cheaper, quicker and two easy documents. Crime Check was double the cost and double the documents. Then they would not accept my original marriage certificate that has been accepted by the Passport office and by the Family Court of Australia. attempted to do a police check - crime check does not accept digital medicare cards. It also is not smart enough to accept id mismatches where the firstname and lastname are not in the right order. Waste of money - I would not recommend.

Easy way to get a Police Check – I paid for and got nearly through the whole process a year ago. I did not get back to it until just now and had to pay for it all again. (hence the four stars) Paying for the report AFTER all the info has been submitted would have saved me paying twice. I am not the only one who has done that. Other wise was a good process. The result was amazingly fast and I could then submit it to the organisation that requested a Police check that day!

Overpriced and not trusted for many purposes. Waste of money – My last National Police Clearance cost about half, accessed address details to auto-fill with postcodes & was received in 5min. I haven't bothered trying to load it to Seek, the category states 'police clearance' and despite the same purpose & result, this is only a background check. I should ve double-checked the acronyms, not relied on google to place the company. WASTE PF MONEY

had submitted my application for the national check and that I would receive it In up to 10 business days - it only took 3 days. I highly recommend Crime Check Australia.

do not use if want a fast CHC – It's quicker to go to local police station that will take 3 business days. After you pay CCA you get an email like this Your police check has been flagged for a manual review by the National Police Checking Service. Good on the public – My experience is anecdotal in that I have have heard of the reported success of the general public volunteering information that has helped the police in their investigations of crimes.

Easy to fill in and clearly explained – I needed the Crime check for my volunteer placement, it was very straight forward to fill in and confirmation came through quickly.

Timely – I was concerned a check might take some time. However I was happy and surprised to see how quickly the check came through. Very smooth and simple process. Thank you!

My experience using Crime Check Australia – I am an accredited chauffeur Driver in SA and for my accreditation I need to produce a valid crime check when required by the relevant government department. I have had no problem with this check using Crime Check Australia. It was easy to apply online and follow the procedure. The report was quick in coming and it was what I needed.

A Great Service – A really easy and straightforward process. Got my clearance quickly which was important as I needed it for work I had already started. Totally recommend this service!

Unimpressed – On the home page "3 Easy Steps" it is not. Try 2 hours to get all the required documents, provided you can remember where you put them. volunteer), the reasoning was not on their tick box so I ticked the next best thing (bad idea) and I had to subsequently submit the reason in writing. By far the biggest concern is handing over all your personal info to a 3rd party which in hind sight, I would not have done. Lastly, 1 business day turn around is arguably the exception than the rule. They quote up to 10 working days if there are any problems (like I had with the reasoning).
