Don’t waste your money – I bought this mainly to use as sandwich press & what a disappointment. The top doesn’t heat up & only cooks from the bottom.

I did contact your customer care and all I am doing since then is having back n forth useless conversations. A big push is to send the appliance because the video is apparently not reaching your team. it’s a 14.4MB video which your systems can’t handle. I did not receive a mail delivery error or any bounce back. Very frustrating experience so far.

Thank you for your feedback. We did offer to cover the return shipping costs for the appliance, as we have had difficulty obtaining the requested information. The offer still stands if you would like us to review the product. We will leave the decision up to you.

Thank you for reiterating. The video has been shared & thank you for acknowledging there is a difference in the bread colour (top & bottom side as clearly shown in the video) And you also mentioned that your team has noted the top plate operates at a lower temperature than the bottom. Assuming this would be mentioned in the product manual? Can you please share a snippet or page number. Thank you.

Hi customer care, I have sent 2 emails to you and the above message asking to please explain what are your “expected parameters” because you can observe the differences in the bread's colour (as acknowledged in your earlier response). -What heat settings would you recommend I should toast a sandwich for the best result? -Would you pre heat? -What is the expected way of using a grill for optimum results? I have read and followed the manual to the tee. Appreciate your help. Regards

The customer care team must feel very powerful right now by not responding any of my emails. Well done Cusinart team.

Worst Grill in the World - Don't Buy!!! – I have owned many pull down grills. this one works eventually - but you do have to wait a long time for your food - which isnt really the point of a grill which is meant to be quick. Top plate never gets hot enough to even brown your food unless you wait for at least 20 minutes. I will be throwing it out.

Perfect Kitchen Appliance – Bought this after using a friends similar one overseas. But this is a newer model, so has a digital screen, and is easier to set the desired temperature - and more interchangable plates. I purchased the "Cuisinart Waffle Plates for Griddler" too so can't wait for waffles on Sunday morning! But I've used the deep pan to make a beef stir fry, and the griddle and sandwich press for toasted sandwiches and wraps. My absolute favourite thing about using it - is the removable plates can just be popped in the dishwasher when done. The plates heat up whilst I'm preparing the food - they do take a good 5-10 mins though. Highly recommend this versatile little appliance.
