The worst piece of crap to ever grace a kitchen, day 1 I tried to press 4 small cloves, got half of the garlic, the rest I had to scrape out and finely diced myself, the top "press handle" flexes way too much not allowing full pressure on the clove, literally half of the garlic is left in the impossible to clean cavity, whoever designed this needs a slap with common sense upside the head. Don’t buy – I used to have their older model was amazing after 7 years of use it broke. Not fit for purpose – Not fit for purpose. Wish I had read these reviews before I purchased this expensive dud (thankfully on sale). Described as 'powerful', I wish my kids were stilll little and playing with playdo. Would have been 'powerful' enough for that at least. Expensive and useless! – This product simply does not work! I bought it because of its size and thought the price suggested it was a superior product. Absolute RUBBISH – This garlic press should be removed from the shelves. Does not work

Incorrectly labelled – As other reviews have said, this is effectively useless for garlic, but it is perfect for making guacamole. I suggest you rename this to "G U A C M A C H I N E" because it purees the avocados to precise guacamole consistency on the first squeeze. In short: good for something different and should be marketed as such.

Culinare Garlic Press Doesn't Work – This garlic press looks impressive and is quite pricey, however it simply doesn't work. I put in three garlic cloves, pressed down and hardly any garlic came out. I continued to press but nothing. All this garlic press does in flatten the clove of garlic. Sorry, but the garlic press is a fail and should be taken off the shelves. Show details

Useless – I bought this press at Woolies for $22 and wish I’d read reviews first. It just flattens the garlic bulb and you cannot get enough pressure to yield any garlic. I thought I must be doing something wrong until I see it’s the same problem for everyone. You need to recall this product and test it properly before putting it up for sale. Does not work – Bought this from Coles. $22 so wasn’t cheap. And it does not work. Despite how hard I squeeze, hardly any garlic comes out. I had the OXO garlic press that looked similar but it’s chalk and cheese. Very disappointed Show details

So disappointing! – I purchased this from coles the other day after my previous metal garlic press I had from another company broke after 20years. I paid $22 for this and it doesn’t work at all, you can’t even clamp down on it to press any garlic out at all. Coles should be testing these products before placing it on their shelves. Show details

Garlic in but no garlic out – Put peeled garlic in the press - squeezed the handles and about 10% of it came out. Thought I might have put too much in - so halved it. Same result. Tried less again and was still disappointed. I feel like throwing it in the bin and probably will. Show details

Don't Buy It – It looks good and feels good but unfortunately there is not enough space between the upper and lower handles to create enough force to press any but the tiniest amount of garlic. I peeled the garlic and then cut it and still it didn't work.
