Just doesn't last – I have been using Cygnett Armoured USB-C & USB-A cables for many years. They last about 6 months then have to replace under warranty. I have had the same one replaced 5 of 6 times. Now the store is getting anhry with us. They dont even last the 5 year warranty. Show details

4 months, and now it doesn’t work – For the cost, I’m disgusted at how poor quality these are. Probably worse than normal cables due to the metal ends, less flexibility. Bought in February ‘23, and already having to play origami to get it at the right angle for charging. I have had better results with cords I’ve bought from Shein FGS. 0/10, do not buy. Show details

Broke after 6 months – Good marketing bs of 5 year warranty, fancy words like armor to indicate strength. These cables are trash and 4 times the price of normal cables. I've got more life out of $10 cables from a servo. Save your money and buy from a servo. Can't find a way to contact these clowns directly and tell them what I think. Show details

Worst charging cord I’ve ever bought – I have purchased 3 of these through telstra and every single one has broken within a month. The end breaks off and gets stuck in the phone charging point. Would not recommend and i will never buy again Show details

I’d give no stars if I could – I’ve been through 2 of these in 6 months. They only last a few months then just stop working. Not worth the money. Save your time and money and buy another brand. Show details

Short time duration, low quality! – We bought 3 of them because of good look and long warranty period but so far we got to replace them three times in a few months! The last one was getting too hot and I am so lucky did not have a battery explosion! Show details

Cygnett USB C-USB A Unsafe & Dangerous Packaging – Took 15-20 mins to get the product out of thick plastic moulded packaging that is so dangerously imminent to cuts due to the thick plastic. Had both scissors and box cutter to remove product from packaging. Safety should be thought of first before packaging appeal. Show details

Charging cable – I’ve had about 4 of these, had to return the first two, now new one will not work. I will not be buying this brand again, total waste of $45 per cable Show details

had a good run – despite the negative reviews, i had a good experience using the charger. after 2 years it is worn out. however, it has had its flaws, such as over time it does not charge unless i lay it flat on the table with my phone. personally, i would have preferred it to be more flexible so i could watch movies in bed (on my side).

Poor quality Cygnet lightning to USB-C charge cable – I purchased a Cygnet Armoured lightning to USB-C And the USB-C end pulled apart leaving it in the charger after the first use. Poor quality and with out the receipt I cannot get a refund. More money wasted.

Worst cable , stopped working in 1 week – Brand new cable stops working all of a sudden , they dont have proper customer service , i paid a premium $45 for a cable which is made of cheap quality. without any aftersales service I would suggest people to go with the original apple product instead.... Show details

Absolute waste of time and money – I cannot stress enough how poorly this product functions. It simply does not charge my device that is able to be charged by other cables. Useless. Do not buy or go near this brand Show details

Waste of money – Waste of money we bought to for out cars but only lasted a month before it stopped working with our car. Thought being an Australian product it would be good but unfortunately not.  Show details

I wanted to support an Aussie company – I'm increasingly passionate about supporting Aussie companies, so of course I overlooked Cygnett's MUCH higher prices, content with my dollar being kept in Australia. I've bought two Cygnett USB-C charging cables within the last 9 months or so, and both have given up on me extremely quickly. The cables just stop connecting - no matter the device.… Read more

No matter how gentle you are with it. When the first cable failed, I emailed them and was sent a "replacement". But they mailed the wrong cable. I didn't bother to get on my high horse about it, and thus PURCHASED a replacement cable (this armoured version). Which is now dead.

Sorry Cygnett, you've lost a customer.

Waste of money – I hope that the company sees this review and realises how disappointed I am as a consumer. The first charger I had by this brand cost me over $30. To which it lasted around 2 months. I had then contacted Cygnett and told them my disappointment. After a big fuss from the company, they sent out a new charger. Again. This new charger has lasted… Read more

probably four months now and doesn’t work. So, why offer a five year warranty when it doesn’t work properly. The packaging is misleading and the poor quality, and overly pricey. I will not be purchasing here again and will be using a different brand instead

We ordered 3 of these and only 1 worked! – The cords were delivered quickly however only 1 out of the 3 worked. The customer service officer was rude when we contacted them and it took numerous attempts to rectify this. We won’t purchase from them again and will retain our receipts for the one that still works.. as we don’t think it will last the 5 year warranty period stated. Best to save… Read more

Super stable cable for iPhone, Ipad or Ipod! – The first thing that drew me to this USB cable was that it is Australian designed and owned. It features a strong braided cord and a metal connecting end, so no more twisting of the cord when trying to pull it out. I have gone through many cables due to the breaking down of the connecting part. This one feels safe and sturdy. It was also available in the long 2mt length. A well made, durable Australian product.
