Two Daikin conditioners with major fault – I had a new build with two Daikin air conditioners installed. Within the first year both of them are faulty and do not work. Access panels were arranged in the ceiling for servicing. However due to the gas leak and needs for the coils to be replaced to fix the manufacturers fault under warranty the roof has to come off. Daikin are unwilling to pay my builder to do this. I think it is pretty poor after spending thousands that I or my builder am out of pocket for this as it is not my fault. Also I haven’t had heating all winter. I recommend do not buy Daikin. The installers have told me this is becoming an issue.
