Daikin RZAS140C
VerifiedMPN: RZAS140C1 review
Daikin market leaders? Doubtful! – I have had the Daikin for just on two years, it replaced a previous Daikin but I was of the understanding the reason the room wasnt heating was due to the roof insulation and ducting I had initially installed. Well I replaced the insulation and the ducting put in a new Daikin and after buying over time at least six Daikins ( and one Fujitsu) for various properties and thinking they are market leaders Im of the view I would never buy another. You can only go by the company agents advice, They see the space and make recommendations. On the positive the cooling is much more effective than it was in the old machine but the heating is very poor and patchy.
Just updating readers who are considering a Daikin. As mentioned previously the RZA140CVI is reported as having 14kw cooling and is effective in the summer but while it is meant to produce 16.5kw of heating I can advise that after two years I am less convince than ever. I was unsure if it is because the compressor generates insufficient heat or the fans driving the heat are below standard but since the cooling is okay maybe its the compressor? Why the compressor stops when its cold some times is also an issue? I guess it comes back to not only getting the right machine but the right design. Its critical to do your homework, its a decision that requires good advice with experience.

I have upgraded the control panel this year with an airtouch panel which means you can alter the airflow in each room. I have found this to be helpful. I was unaware of it when the Daikin rep attended my home. You might want to ask your provider about them before installing any reverse cycle.
