We have used Dawson Electric several times for big jobs(installing air conditioners) and small jobs( cleaning air cons and replacing an oven door ). The staff were always cheerful, nothing was a problem and they were always on time. Great experience.

I recently used Dawson Electric to install smoke alarms throughout my house. The technicians did a great job and the admin girls were very friendly and helpful.

Great service installing our downlights and switchboard. The team were friendly and relaible.

These guys are legit – I had two jobs for Dawson electric to do. They were prompt, and ready to go. Not only friendly but they were professional, and so kind, adapted to my situation and continually asked if things they were doing were okay for me. I will absolutely use these guys again, they're too good not to.

Perfect and professional – Jack was prompt, polite and very professional. Upgraded the fire detectors and installed wall lights in the main bedroom and over mirror light in ensuite. Excellent work ethic and fantastic problem solving skills when faced with installation dilemma. Fantastic work Jack

Top service – Have used Dawson Electric twice now, turned out to be minor issues but for peace of mind with electrical problems they were on time, efficient, courtesy and price reasonable. Highly recommend.

Go elsewhere for ceiling fans – I used Dawson in late 2020 after seeing mostly positive reviews and unfortunately have had a terrible experience with 4 fan installations at my home. Based on their recommendation, I had 4 Brilliant fans installed in bedrooms, which were noisy, and one didn't work at all from the start due to a fan malfunction. away or replace them (including the broken one installed on the day they came to put them in - which was left there for 4 weeks), saying it was now a warranty issue. They left me to deal with a very lengthy warranty dispute which has been ongoing for months (it is now almost June 2021), saying the noise relates to a ripple relay problem at my property (which I spent hours researching, and even installed a ripple relay filter at their recommendation which was both expensive and made absolutely no difference). Their fan recommendations appear to be generic (ie they simply recommend one type, perhaps because they are purchased in bulk for cheap), have no regard to AC/DC considerations or the type of room you are catering for (quiet bedroom vs outdoor alfresco areas). Has been an awful experience, really disappointing after I was trying to support a local business. I have found the company to be dishonest in their dealings with the issue and misleading about consumer rights and warranties. If you're not happy with your product or service with them, don't expect them to do a thing to help you as the customer - expect quite the opposite.

Amazing Customer Service – We recently used Dawson Electric to install come ceiling fans and upgrade our switchboard. The service we received from the Office staff to the technician has been outstanding. They turned up on time, vacuumed before they left and even fixed a light for free. I would highly recommend this company.
