When I read the quote it said the checks would include: - that it was working properly using the pendant controller and, - clean the unit.
THATS IT!!, for $3100, seriously?????!

up. The leak was under the half court tennis court, so that was a lot of concrete. I was asked to pay $1k more as it was a bigger job and so I did. Took them 3 days and I cannot say a bad word for [Name Removed] and the young tradies who worked at our place. However on day 1 my husband was asked to accept a new quote that was $4k higher as they had to replace the pipe from the meter to the house as apparently it wasn’t the correct pipe and should never have been used underground? We were now looking at just over $12k for the job. Day 2, we were asked for another $2k as this was an instalment payment. We had not been informed that instalment payments were part of the process, thinking that the deposit was all that was required until the work was completed. A channel was cut across the court and the pipe replaced and the channel backfilled. We got a call saying the work was finished and payment needed. My husband queried that as the concrete had not been replaced. [Name Removed] called [Name Removed] to confirm concrete installation and [Name Removed] called my husband telling him the job was complete, it did not include re concreting. Needless to say, we were not happy. I especially was not happy when [Name Removed] told him if the job was not paid for, the works may have to be dug up and removed. Overall, I was not happy with the standover technique, lack of transparency, invoices with no detail of work done, continual increase of price and dishonest representation of what the job entailed. So now we need to complete the job ourselves. That will be fun at our age!

electrician set all his gear up then pressured the upsell otherwise he would pack his gear up and leave. This is gauging at its finest. Do not use these people as I am getting nightmares to this day $3200 to wire in 6 X LED's that I supplied WTH!? Pretty disappointed with Same Day Trades Plumbing to be honest. it last Friday (1 May). Now less than a week later, the same spot is leaking again.
We only noticed after getting home from work and hearing water running flat out with the water meter spinning non-stop.
Tried following it up and apparently no one’s available until next Wednesday. They also said they tried calling me and left a voicemail, but there was no voicemail at all — just a missed No Caller ID call.
Meanwhile we’ve had to turn the main water valve on and off every day before work, before bed, etc. just to stop the leak. (Tried to save it with everything we had even with the duct tape but it required a professional tool and professional plumber)
For a repair job that supposedly cost around $2k, I honestly expected a lot better service and a bit more responsibility when the repair failed almost straight away.
Definitely not recommended. And we don’t know what to do next…
Do not use this company, they charged my 86 year old nan for plumbing $814dol and did nothing worker Matt stating they would charge her 20,000 dol to fix the plumbing sa water came out fixed it for free. No ABN on Quote also stated No Call Out Fee Charged her
Had a tap that would not turn off and was very worn. Same Day Trades sent a crew straight out and quickly resolved the issue, installing a brand new mixer in my kitchen sink. Work was fast and professional and I remained informed for the duration, making the whole ordeal stress free. Very happy with my new tap. Show reply

Plumber arrived at the ollotted time. Determined I had a hot water pipe leak (not water heater as I thought). I helped locate the leak. He gave me a quote for "worst case scenario" - demolish a couple metres of concrete path, dig to 1m, replace/repair pipe. of concrete cut out, he repaired the 13mm pipe (half meter of pipe and two compression fittings) and then would not reprice on best case (which it was). I was charged $2078 i.e. just over$600/hour for 3 hours on a basic plumbing job and then he charged me another $207.80 GST on top, I thought GST was in the quote. Total $2285. Will never use this business again and I don't recommend them.

The plumber was nice and did a good job. BUT $767.80 to install a new bathroom tap set which i supplied. Work out the maths for a 45minute job I'm also a preferential customer with Same Day Trades as well I must have won the lotto.

DO NOT USE, they grossly overcharge you for materials and labour. They don't give you a detailed breakdown of costs on the day. They will try and upsell you to change more components when not necessary. Be aware they come under different company names to try and trick you. Again avoid at all costs as they are rip off artists. Follow-up · The cost all up was $1850 for replacing an outside double power point and the upsell was replacing 6 off circuit breakers as they said were not rcd protected which i later found out was incorrect, they also said the rcd that i had needed replacement and extra $600 but declined. All up again they are rouges and should never ever use.

home, but my husband was when they did the job. Much to my horror, I discovered they charged us $1100 to unclog a build up of toilet paper. Our home is new build. They requested immediate payment. When I asked my elderly husband if they told him this is how much it would cost he said no, he had only been told about the $99 callout fee. I can see a pattern emerging from the reviews that if they see a vulnerable person they take advantage and price gauge. To add insult to injury, I have been witness to a major plumbing job, in the same week, with majorly blocked drains in an older property that was hours work with a reputable plumber and it did not cost as much as our toilet paper blockage. After requesting a receipt, I have received one, but not a detailed report. I have now emailed requesting a detailed report of what they actually did to justify the cost of this 40 minute job. I will await a response.

inspected by camera. After jet blasting, the blockage wasn't resolved. The probable blockage area was located and I was advised that there was a 95% that it was either blocked/cracked at this point. The course of action recommended was to dig up a square metre of concrete and replace a y shaped section of pipe. I agreed to the additional cost, although I believed the cost was over the top. I figured if I declined then I would need to start from square one with another plumbing company. The following day a plumber and I believe an apprentice? arrived to do the said work. I happened to check on progress just as the old pipe section was removed and it revealed that there was no blockage in that section of pipe. New pipe was installed and I asked to test to see if problem was fixed. No, the problem wasn't fixed, so a call was made to the technician who agreed to come out again the following day and have another look. A new area of pipe was diagnosed where a possible blockage was, using the camera. Asked what the fix was I was advised jet water blaster again but it would cost an additional $800!!! I declined. Lodged a formal complaint in writing. A week later they agreed to come out and fix the problem at no additional cost to me. As well as plumbers having to come to my home on 5 separate days @ approximate 17 hours of their time, I was also further out of pocket financially. I had to repair an area of 1sq metre where concrete had been dug up unnecessarily. Their quote to re concrete said area was to be an additional $3000!!! I repaired using pavers/sand and a total cost of $75. My tip is do your due diligence first, before hiring this company. Their prices are over the top. I gave a 2nd star rating as all the people that turned up to do the work were all pleasant and on time. UPDATE: After the 5th subsequent visit which involved camera work and jet blasting, it was established that the variation in height of the stormwater pipe was contributing to the water drainage issue. Discussions were had over possible solutions to avoid/minimise problems with the storm water system in the future. I was also asked if I would consider removing this review.
Follow-up · After seeking a legal opinion and consumer affairs I decided to no longer pursue with this company. A family member and myself purchased less than $200 worth of plumbing products and formulated a solution ourselves. This is has solved the problem with no issues at all. Note to self 'sometimes tradies don't know best'.

arrived to review the outside water works that appears to be a bit high and above my ever rising blood pressure which escalates with every new plumbing dilemma .

The blockage was on the street side so the plumber rang SA Water on my behalf, to get them to attend. They then cleaned up their job and left. No charge. Gotta be happy with that. I got the quote from other plumbing service installation and removing the unit at the cost of $470. I texted him on his mobile 0413375211 for quote difference and offered him to do the job at $ 1000 with no extra cost. Kept his number on your blocked list. He refused to refund my deposit and sent the invoice without breakdown. The receptionist did hang up my call and kept me on hold for a long time when I called for refund.
I am very frustrated with their service. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL COST.

board couldn’t support the appliance so it couldn’t be installed without upgrading the board, which was too costly for us despite Jesse quoting three different options. Despite this, we were impressed with Jesse’s professional and friendly approach and will gladly use his electrical service when needed.
We recently had Same Day Trades folks visit our property for a quote to service ducted aircon. Dominic and Diego arrived on time. Highly disappointed with samedaytrades. Very expensive. Not explaining the price they are asking for, eg, cost of material, timing etc. They refuse to give a rational explanation. I don’t trust them because they are pushing you for more jobs to be done by making false and alarming suggestions. Don’t deal with them before asking many questions and do not trust their narrative. They are trying to rip you off big times!!!
