Everything done in one day – From start to finish, all the Electrical work and TV installation etc, was organised, clearly explained and demonstrated. The good and bad – Came quickly and did a good job. But. They were way too expensive for the job required and told me that I had to change all my house to appliances to electric which was not true. Call Voltioelectric if you don’t want to pay too much and get a great job done. If you have lots of extra money then first electric is a good place to use as the job was done well and quickly but not better than other good electricians.

A company who lies and preys on the venerable – I haven't come across many bad companies in my lifetime, but this one takes the cake and wants to eat all of it too. And when challenged they are argumentative and rude. this costing money over the phone. Only once the electrician arrived. Then the electrician said the metre box was dangerous and needed urgent fixing. They wanted more $$$$ than what an entirely new metre box would have cost.

A different and honest electrician who looked at the metre box and tested it said there was nothing wrong with it, and said he would have replace the light swich for about one third of the cost.

When we didn't pay HomeFirst the full amount that they wanted for the light switch, although they were paid more than it was worth to do the job, they kept coming back to the house and were abusive and threatened to take out all the safety fuses in the metre box. Afterwards, they kept phone calling with threats of court action. When we confronted them with "go ahead" they stopped, and we never heard from them again.

AVOID this company at all costs.

WARNING DO NOT USE RIPP OFF!!!! – Elec first updated meter box, power points, put in light fittings. I found out later from another electrician I had been way, way overcharged. Reliable service – The same electrician, Joey Z, attended my house earlier this year and today. He is punctual, reliable and very capable. A number of jobs were completed on the 2 occasions, including upgrade of very old wiring and circuits, some of which was quite complex, and required liaison with other services. It’s great to have everything working well. Joey communicated well and also cleaned up at the end.

Excellent work! – Joey Z installed new light fixture after finding old one unable to be repaired. Excellent work. He rang prior to arrival, was polite and explained the problem. Great customer service and would be very happy to recommend him, as well as have him back if we require more electrical works.

Best attitude and good work – Joey Z and Coree and apprentice’s were all fantastic. A few hitches but they were in communication always which is important and unusual. Joey did a fabulous job of doing a complicated refit of an overdue power board. He was polite and friendly and efficient.

Triyan’s superb job installing down lights – Triyan was a joy to have in our home. He made the installation of over 40 down lights go smoothly. He consulted us about everything and did a great clean up job. Highly recommend Triyan - he is very professional and a star electrician.
