Good while it lasted – Purchased this product just over 3 1/2yrs ago. It wasn't the cheapest rangehood at $387. First thing I noticed was the controls, which you have to stand on your head, to actually look under the hood to see. You soon learn to poke about in the general vicinity and you find them. Other than that I'd been happy with the unit. That is until I came home the other afternoon and the rangehood lights were on, and cannot be turned off other than with the Power Point. They were red hot so had turned themselves on some time during the day. Luckily I keep my filters clean, so there was no grease to potentially spontaneously combust. First thing I did was try and find a Delonghi serviceman in the Penrith area. If you have a coffee machine there's a million of them. Got an electrician out who said the printed circuitboard needed replacing, and I would be better going through DeLonghi. Contacted Good Guys who gave me the phone number of a company. They have quoted $336 to fix it, then there's the potential for the halogen lights to blow, so, either pay for them to be replaced with the circuitboard or pay $500 for a new one. I have decided to switch the PowerPoint on when I need to use it, and turn it off when finished. I'll wait for them to come on special. I would rather not buy DeLonghi again, but the electrician said the hole has been made to take that unit, so another brand may be slightly different and not fit. Not impressed at all.

Purchased in at The Good Guys for $387.

Do not buy this rangehood it only last 1 year – Purchased August 2019 at Binglee. Only last for a year then stopped working. Delonghi customer service is quite slow because all major kitchen appliances service by Elba appliances. Waiting for the motor to be replaced for nearly 2 months now.... Better to buy cheap but good reliable products from other major companies.

Purchased in at Bing Lee Online store for $495.

Failure to work just 3 years after purchase – Circuit board failed just 3 years after purchase. A rangehood should last much longer than this. Way too expensive to have fixed so having to look at a replacement already. It was good while it lasted

Stood test of time – Bought this exhaust fan nearly 5 years ago and it has been great. Much quieter than my previous Miele and works just as well. However I don’t cook a lot of stir fries or smell emitting food and don’t use evert day. About to move and renovating kitchen in new place before moving in, and will be buying this exhaust fan again.

Purchased in at The Good Guys for $499.
