Delonghi HX65L22

Good heater but not as good as past heater – I bought this heater today. It is very energy efficient and is very quiet. It seems to do the job really well However unlike the older deloghi panel heater the front of this one becomes quite warm. I would not leave small children or the elderly on their own around it with checking on them.

Nice heater that's spoiled by a lack of a proper timer – It heats a medium sized room quietly and efficiently. The highest heat setting turns on a fan that, although quiet, does blow out of the side, which might make placement a little difficult. It's quite light and very easy to move around. Unfortunately, it has only a basic countdown timer, in units of 30 minutes, to turn the heater on or off. Worse still, the countdown timer only runs once, not repeatedly. There is no ability to program the heater to turn on or off at specific times or days because it has no clock to register those settings against. Realistically, it's heater you either leave on 24hrs a day, or manually turn on and off as needed.
Considering that even basic oil column heaters, at half the price, have clock based timers with multiple on / off sequences per day, can separate between weekdays, weekends or even blocks of individual days, this is a disappointing omission on the DeLonghi.
