This is very smart looking kettle which looks lovely on your kitchen benchtop, but there are a few things that stop me from giving it 5 stars: 1. Taking the lid on and off to fill the kettle is a little awkward 2. It's hard to see the water level indicator when you are filling the kettle 3. It's a bit noisy Otherwise it pours beautifully without any dribbles and boils fairly quickly.

Expensive - but is it worth the money? – This kettle was purchased to replace a Sunbeam kettle which we had to throw out as the handle fell off. It was just over two years old, and we did not want another Sunbeam product. We were looking for a solid kettle and this one certainly is however it in my opinion it is very heavy. 960gm empty and 2.66kg when filled to its maximum level. Again, in my opinion it is slow to boil. Filling it to the maximum recommended level with cold tap water, it takes five and a half minutes to boil. This kettle was purchased from Myer. It was on sale reduced from $179 to $149 and it only has a one-year warranty. You could purchase a similar capacity kettle from Kmart for $15 with a 4.8 review rating from 441 reviews.
Steamy Style – This is my second Delonghi Kettle. I purchased a new one because I dropped the last one and dented the metal. It’s still working perfectly but I’ve given it to my daughter and bought this new beauty!
