Avoid at all costs! – I have sensitive skin and have been using the special cleansing gel for a number of years. I accidently ordered the clay cleanser so decided to give it a go. I definitely recommend avoiding this product. I was unable to open my eyes immediately after cleaning my face and the menthol ingredient was so strong that it affected my eyes. I used the… Read more

product for about a month, and it caused my skin to break out in acne on my face, decolletage and shoulders. I'm lucky enough to have pretty clear skin - so this was a real shock. Once I made the connection and ruled out all other reason for the acne - I immediately stopped using this product. I returned to using the Special Cleansing Gel and the acne completely disappeared. Be very careful if you decide to use this product - I will definitely never use it again.

Love love love this product – I've used a lot of different cleansers over the years on my sensitive skin and nothing has compared to this product. It does a through daily clean of my oily skin and leaves it feeling calm, cool and fresh. Can't recommend this product enough.

OK – i cannot rate this product highly enough. i love the tignly sensation it gives your skin because of the menthol. I have used this cleaner for years & intend to always use it. Makes your skin soft, supple and bright. I have recommended Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser to 4 of my friends and 3 swear by it just like I do and my other friend is yet to… Read more

buy it. Depending on your budget it can be quite expensive ( I pay $70 for the larger bottle) but it is certainly worth every penny and it last for ages. I probably wouldn't recommend it if you have open sores on your face or very very severe acne as the menthol and the tingly feeling that it creates may irritate your skin. Also, because they don't sell it in mainstream supermarkets or department stores, you may find it hard to find if you live in a remote area. I have only ever seen it in dermalogica beautician stores but I may be wrong... ten out of ten for this product. Its just great and my skin couldnt be happier. Effective. Odd smell.

Good – this is a great cleanser for oily skin and also skin with alot of blemishes. Its a nice thick clay bases cleanser so only a small bit is needed and it rinses off completely. It is quite expensive however shop around on ebay etc and you will get a good bargain leaves skin feeling very clean and smoother. only a small amount is needed because it is… Read more

quite thick. Has a nice and fresh smell. Rinses easily and can even be left on for a few minutes to act as a quick mask. expensive. can be a bit drying on skin that isnt oily.

OK – This product is suited to oilier skin, leaving it feeling smooth and refreshed. However it doesn't foam up like other cleansers (obviously because it is a clay based) and also I found it wasn't as effective at removing makeup as the other dermalogica cleansers. I will say though that you only need a little so it will last you awhile.

OK – Overall I am not 100% on this product. As I said i have only just started using it along with the microfoliant and the active moist. I have already had a few quite painful pimples appear but hopefully this is just my skin getting rid of all the bad stuff and this will pass! Finger crossed! It left my skin feeling refreshed and smooth. I only… Read more

started using this product a couple of weeks ago and have noticed a fair few spots starting to appear. Hopefully this will pass once my skin becomes used to the cleansing routine.
