PLEASE DO NOT BUY – My 6 week old son has seborrheic Dermatitis on his face so I bought this product to help treat it. The second I put it on, he started to become distressed and cry. I thought maybe it was just cold but he took ages to soothe (which is unusual for him). I tried a couple more times but the result was the same distressed cry and his face was left… Read more

looking so sore and red. I finally read these reviews and saw that they all say the same thing. Thank goodness I wasn't crazy but I have massive mum guilt for trusting this product over my own instincts. This product needs to be recalled.

Irritated face – Used this product on 7 week old baby for dry skin. That night noticed his face was bright red and next morning an irritated rash appeared. It looks very painful like a burn. Do not use this on infant. I have contacted Dermaveen as it appears lots of parents have had this problem. How can it be on the market. Show details

Do not use! – Just like everyone else my 3 month old has woken up with red raw blotchy skin every where we put this cream lastnight! We will never use this again! It should be taken off the shelves now!!! surely all of the bad reviews have to prompt someone to do something

I wish I found this product sooner! – I absolutely love this product! I went and purchased all the j&j products after people had told me they were great. They were all awful and gave my 3month old peeling skin. This is the only product I have found lotion wise that helps and makes her skin feel smooth as a baby's bum again

Terrible product ! – I used this on my 9 week old son as he had a bit of eczema, the pharmacist told me it would suitable, when I got home couldn't see ingredients for product but assumed it would be fine as it had oatmeal in it. My son cried 2 seconds after I put it on, obviously burning his delicate skin and it was red raw afterwards... Felt so guilty! I ended up… Read more

grounding sound oats and putting it in his bath with baking soda then used organic coconut oil on his skin, Vaseline on top of most infected areas and fine cotton clothes nothing with polyester in it!

Would never recommend dermaveen to anyone.

Horrible! Do not use on infant!! – Used this product on my 6 week old boys head as he had dry skin at first it seemed to look a little red. Unfortunately by morning I had to take him straight to the doctors as his head was so inflamed and red raw rash. After doing further research on this product it seems many infants are having the same similar reaction to this product. I will never use this product again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Horrible product! DO NOT USE! – My 7 month old daughter had some dry skin on her face, being a previous Dermaveen user for my ezxma I thought this cream would be perfect for her. I used the 'Baby Dermaveen Soap Free Wash' first in her bath and when I took her out I noticed she was a little red, not thinking much of it I put this cream on and within a minute she had a red, raw… Read more

rash all over her face and behind her ears!!

Being my first baby I absolutely freaked out, I am shocked that a baby wash and cream could do this!

I am horrified with this product and now after some research I'm seeing a lot of other parents having the same issue.

I am VERY surprised Dermaveen haven't taken it off the shelves to re-formulate it.

PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!!!!

Yellow crusty and weeping skin!! Wouldn't recommend! – My 12 wk old son had a bit of dry skin that wouldn't go away on his face, went to chemist and chose the dermaveen baby moisturizer as it sounded the best. Used just the tiniest bit on his face and the next morning he woke with yellow crusty skin over his forehead and it was all weeping! It looked so sore and was bleeding in spots from where he had… Read more

scratched! So annoyed that a cream could do this to a baby..and after reading all the other reviews I think it should be taken off the shelf..looks like it harms more babies than helps them. Wish I had read this page before I chose this one!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT – My 8week old son had eczema on his face. GP recommended this product. Applied this and it aggravated it, made eczema worse like weeping and more inflamed and just like the other mum's review, made my baby's face swollen and eyes shut. This product may be good for older ones, not babies.

Fantastic product! – Both my little girls have eczema since they were born and the GP and Pharmacist both recommened me Dermaveen and I tried it on both of them and it was fantastic! They had no reaction and it works very well. We've tried Sorbolene, Sebamed, Vitamin E and they were all horrible products causing instant red inflammation on my girls, never used them again. Fantastic product compared to all those others out there!

Do not buy this product – I used this product for my 5 week old daughter to treat mild eczema on her face. It aggravated her skin, made it red, cracked and weeping. Her eyes were swollen shut and I rushed her to emergency. I would not recommend this for babies it is very harsh on their skin. Not for babies, has alcohol in it.

Steer clear of this product – I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially if your bubs have sensitive skin. My son is suffering from mild eczema when I used this on his face and body. From red it became cracked and bleeding within only two days of using this product. Did more damage than help. I would never touch this product again. Expensive. Did more damage than help.

Soft, smooth skin – I love this product. My baby is currently in a hip splint and it unable to have baths so her skin has been getting rather dry and rashy. I began using using Dermaveen including this moisturising cream and her skin has never looked better. The dryness and irritation has gone, no visible rash or eczema and no cradle cap! I am impressed. The smell… Read more

isn't pleasant but I wouldn't say it is unpleasant. It's a clean smell and I would prefer that to scented skincare. Inexpensive, fast working.

Damaged son's skin – I have tried this product on both of my children over the last couple of years as it has been recommended by my doctor to help with their eczema. My oldest daughter had mild eczema on her face when she was about 10 months old and this only inflamed her skin even more... And presently, as I type this, my 9 month old baby boy is in a screaming,… Read more

itchy, spotty inflamed mess after using this product. I can even see my hand print on his back where I rubbed the cream in. His little cheeks are beetroot red and weeping. This is a classic case of irritant contact dermatitis. What angers me is that I've never been able to find an ingredient list for any of the Dermaveen products. In the bin this goes. Will never purchase Dermaveen products again.

Caused contact dermatitis, no ingredient list

Wouldn't buy this again – I was looking for a thick moisturisng cream for my baby's dry face. I wouldn't buy this product again and wish that someone told me that it was not worth the extra money. It smells and looks just like sorbolene and does not do a better job as a moisturiser. I can't find a list of ingredients for all the Dermaveen products- they're not as… Read more

transparent about what is in the product as many other brands.

Smells and looks like sorbolene, but a lot more expensive
