Caused a Psoriasis flare up – This year, I’ve had the worst psoriasis flare up in decades. I went to doctors and dermatologists and spent lots of dollars on creams etc. Never did I think for a second it would be the soap free wash I was using until I read some reviews on here. I immediately stopped using it and my skin is getting back to normal. It should be taken off the market!!! Show details
Rubbish – This product made my skin itchy especially in the underwear area unbearable. Pharmacist said it was good maybe for her not for me I've binned it. Will stick to ctaphil it hasn't a sent with it Show details
Changed formula - gave me rashes – Sent message on FB and they confirm that they have changed formula about 4yrs ago. They just asked for the batch # and that they have reported it. Blah blah blah. $30 wasted!!! Just tried it 3 weeks ago and I got these red spots on odd parts of my body. Never going back to this brand again. Happy to stick with Aveeno!! Never changing again. learned. most dermatologists recommends aveeno as well! I dont recommend dermaveen to anyone. I will Continue to tell everyone about this experience.
Great soap free wash – I use this wash on my face. I have dry sensitive skin on my face and this wash is gentle enough to use on the face. It is fragrance free and has a creamy consistency. I love that it doesnt dry out my skin but leaves it clean and soft. I usually buy gentle version of this wash but decided to try this one for variety reasons and wasnt disappointed.… Read more
This wash removes makeup very well and doesnt cause breakouts. It is reguarly discounted at Chemist Warehouse and very affordable. The 1ltr bottle of this lasts a few months with daily use, so it is a value for money. I recommend this product for people with dry and sensitive skin.
Terrible product – Yeh so i was doing a bio experiment aye, testing microbes on hands when using dermaveen. My hands got dirtier than they were prior to using the soap. Therefore it is a trash product. Do not buy Show details
soothing alternative to soap – My itchy sensitive skin has improved by using Dermaveen soap free wash I had to use steroids initially to reduce acute inflammation then when less acute tried Dermaveen and have been using it ever since It lasts me quite a while although it seems expensive at first Buying in a large bottle and stocking up when on special is cost effective The… Read more
results are worth it for soothing and moisturising my skin
Crusty lesions on elbows less itchy too
Fits into shower caddy with push nozzle dispenser so not in the way
No messy soap to clean up
Not a strong perfume which I prefer
unuseable – After first using this product and it looking like dirty dish water and not being useable I contacted Dermaveen and they had me return the product for testing. Even after many weeks I have had no contact from Dermaveen even after many requests for an update on the testing. Seems like the company customer relations are as good as their product. Would never waste my money on their products again.
Awful!! – A friend brought for relief with his eczema, but it caused it to flare up so he gave it to me. Since using this product, it has caused my hands to peel!! I'm glad I haven't used it all over my body. It's going in the bin!!
radiotherapy rash – I found it gave excellent relief for facial, neck rash during radiotherapy for throat cancer. Great product! I strongly recommend it's use for people suffering from radiotherapy induced rash symptoms.
Very disappointing – I agree with Shaz. I'm a former pharmacy assistant & have recommended it & used it for years. The product is very thin now with a very "chemical" smell. I'll be looking for a new wash.
Not Good!! – How disappointing. I bought a bottle of body wash and what a change and not for the best. The consistency was thin and what happened to the gorgeous smell? I will not be purchasing this again - but maybe it was just a bad batch?

What happened to Dermaveen body wash – Dermaveen body wash had a lovely thick texture and that beautiful oat smell. I miss it, and think I will change to another brand. It's a shame, as I've been using it for years.
Love these products! – I really love this stuff - I use Extra Gentle Soap Free Wash. I have mild rosacea & recently developed perioral dermatitis on my face (was using lots of cosmeceuticals to try and keep my skin smooth). I switched to this gentler cleanser (+ Dermaveen facial moisturiser) and 2 months later my facial skin is perfectly smooth with no irritation! Handy to use the same product for face and body too, especially when travelling!
No frills and effective – My husband has always had itchy dry scalp and has tried a number of products with little or no relief. I replaced all soap for less mess in showers etc with DermaVeen wash but also found it made an excellent shampoo and suggested it for my husband to try, he had immediate long term relief from itchy scalp I recommend it for everyday use convenient and inexpensive
Not happy jan – I have been using this product for a long time. The most recent purchase is a very different texture and consistency to the last one. Why change for the worse?
Best of the best for sensitive skin – I have used QV for years and while I still use it, this wash is kept in my shower for serious days of flare up dermatitis, it's also always in my bag for on the go, because the chemical soaps at restaurants is so damaging The scent is lovely and mild I use the entire dermaveen range to great success Foams well, lovely scent, mild, this… Read more
helps to calm down my skin and when QV runs out I will be permanently keeping this on hand soft scent, mild, non irritant, always on sale
Winner! – This product is lovely! It's great for extremely sensitive skin, The texture dermaVeen soap is great, I like how this product is so gentle on the skin... I use all DermaVeen products and also use them on my baby as it's so mild and gentle. They even have a shampoo and conditioner range is also won't let you down. great texture, nice simple packaging, easy pump bottle,
Excellent – It's worth paying a little extra money for this product. It's actually not that expensive when you compare it to other soap free washes, and the larger the bottle you buy the more you save so it's worth investing in a bigger bottle from the beginning. I have been using this product for face and body for a few years now and i think it's fantastic.… Read more
I have mildly sensitive skin and prefer not to use soap on my skin or perfumed products either. This product is soap free and perfume free. It's not drying, you can use it in the bath or the shower. The smell is very mild and natural, which is the way i prefer it to be. It lathers up just enough to make it feel like you are actually cleaning the skin, unlike some soap free cleansers that don't foam at all. I have also just started using the shampoo and conditioner and they are both just as good. Nothing really, but the bottles could be a little prettier. The company have just revamped the containers and they do look better but they are now in an odd shape bottle, sort of flat and wide.
Great – A Great wash for the whole family especially with ezcema prone skin.I have tried many other brands but dermaveen has worked best for me and my kids.It leaves the skin very soft and moisturised. I found often i haven't had to moisturise after using the wash.It can be used more then once a day. Low fragrance, effective, works well on dry skin and ezcema prone skins A little expensive. Excellent facial cleanser – I wont use any other cleansers on my face but this. I used to use Cetaphil which is another soap free wash, but find the Dermaveen much creamer and leaves my skin soft and moisturised. Good value, leaves skin soft and moisturised

Excellent – I suffer from psoriasis and cannot use soap products which dry the skin and encourage psoriasis. I began using Dermaveen two years ago and have been very happy with the outcome. My skin is less dry. Dermaveen is a cost effective solution for those who cannot use soap. This product is very pleasant to use and is a great alternative to soap… Read more · 1
products. Unlike some soap alternatives, it does lather and leaves you feeling really clean without drying your skin. Soaps often leave you feeling a little "cloggy". This doean't. My teenage daughter loves it too! A great alternative to soap products. Whereas soap dry the skin and encourages psoriasis, this doesn't. The quality and price are good. Unperfumed and has a nice texture. This product is very pleasant to use and the 1 lire pump pack is excellent. It does lather and leaves you feeling really clean without drying your skin ,unlike some soap alternatives. Doesn't leave you feeling "cloggy" or oily like soap or bath oil. My teenage daughter loves it too! Easily available at chemists and some health shops. There is nothing to dislike.
Good – This product from DermaVeen is a wonderful alternative to soap and is especially useful for people with sensitive skin. It is pH neutral and cleans as well as moisturises the skin beautifully without living it feeling dry or itchy. It does cost more than regular soaps so it terms of unit pricing, it is not as good value as other products on the… Read more
market. However, for people who suffer from skin irritations after using regular soap, it is a great product and well worth the extra money. Moisturises and cleans your skin. Gentle formula suitable for use with sensitive skin. Nothing of note.
Excellent – The fact that it bubbles up a bit in the bath is great for kids. Cleared up my babies eczema and I have recommended it to my sister in law for my nephew and she is also impressed by the results. The only product that cleared up my babies eczema
Excellent – I have been using the Dermaveen soap free wash for a few months now and it has really helped to calm my skin. I like the fact that it is also ph balanced which not all soap free washes are, which means it is less drying to the skin. Straight away I noticed my skin became softer and less dry and the Dermaveen has calmed down the constant itching… Read more
skin problem I had. It is very expensive to buy from the chemist but since I use it every day instead of soap I buy it online in larger bottles and it works out much cheaper. ph balanced, soap free, non irritating wash very expensive but you can buy larger bottles online for the same price as a small bottle from the chemist
Good – my skin is definitely less itchy when using this product, i like to try other products that are new on the market and switch occasionally as i don;t like using the same product everyday for years as i think my skin gets too used to it and its a little boring. the smell is not anything to rave about but most non soap products are the same in the… Read more
scent department. overall its in the mid price range for me which is fine. quite a good product and not too much to complain about. not to expensive, gentle on skin and not drying nothing really
Good – I like this product as my skin tends to be dry and can be sensitive times. I have not been using soap bars on my body for years and have been using alternative options such as gels and body washes. This product is great for those who suffer from dryness, eczema and sensitive skin. The main weakness of this product is not the best probably because… Read more
the product most likely does not contain fragrance. I would definitely buy this product again, though I do find this product to be slightly expensive compared to other department body washes I have used in the past. Does not dry the skin unlike soap. Leaves the skin soft afterward washing. Good for dry or sensitive skin. Cleans well Smell is not the best, but bearable.
Good – I have found this a great soap alternative as I suffer dermatitis and sensitive skin. It's non greasy and doesn't leave any residue and isn't irritating but is quite expensive. great soap alternative if you have dry, irritated or sensitive skin Is alot more expensive than soap, or other soap alternatives on the market
Good – This is a great soap free product that I would only use if I had irriated skin as it is far too expensive to use as a daily cleanser. It is an oatmeal formula that is very soothing on irritated and inflamed skin. It is extremely good on dry flakey skin and will result in skin being more hydrated and feeling smooth and soft. I get very itchy… Read more
skin and find this offers great relief, it can be used on you body, face and hands. A gentle alternative to soap that is partically good for irritated and dry skin. It is far too expensive to use as a daily wash.
Excellent – This really is the top stuff forget QV and aveeno ( although they are cheaper they are just not as good in quality and effectiveness). My doctor reccomended the dermaveen line of skin care for my daughter and it cleared up her eczma in no time. I have no hesitation in reccomending this product. Gentle on skin, clears up skin conditions such as… Read more
eczma and dermatitis. Convenient packaging and click top lid design make it an easy product to use and store. The smell can take a bit of getting used to as the product is made from collodial oatmeal. It is not cheap a small bottle is $15+
