Good product, but hope nothing goes wrong. Cannot recommend Devanti – Initially it was a good heater. We did have to install a separate 15w power supply which cost more than the heater but it did a good job for a few years. Recently the remote stopped working. It was out of warranty (12 months) so I went back to the manufacturer. There have been numerous emails and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days to get a reply. Since the light on the unit flashes on when the remote is pressed, there is communication going on but it will not stay turned on. It can be turned on manually but you need a ladder. Tried new batteries without success. It may or may not be the remote and since it is communicating, maybe not the remote. After numerous emails, I discovered they have no suggestions, no service in Sydney, nobody to talk to, and could not help except suggesting I buy a remote. I asked if I could return the remote if it did not work? Answer, NO. Overall, the heater does the job, just pray there are no problems. If you have issues, you may have to throw it away. An expensive solution for what may be a simple problem.

Since writing the review I have had over 20 emails. They cannot help. Initially told me I could buy another remote but it might not fix the problem. No return if it didn't work. When I asked the price, the remote was out of stock. I asked when it would be in stock, but they don't know. Have dealt with [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed] and [Name Removed]. There is no continuity and I keep either getting asked the same question, or a reply that does not answer the question. Final email was someone suggesting changing the batteries in the remote which I said I had done in my first email. I doubt it is the remote, as a light flashes on the heater when the remote is pressed. It will not stay on. Using manually, the light stays on. The remote is communicating, but the heater will not stay turned on.

Although the heater works well, I would warn anyone against buying the brand because if something goes wrong, there is little hope of getting it fixed. I can only turn it on manually, and it is over 2m off the ground. I need to use a ladder.

This is the latest email I received from them. Thanks for contacting us. Kindly note that we have double-checked the part and regret that we don't have spare remotes to sell and it won't be available anymore. Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact us. Kind Regards, [Content Removed]

Anyone suggest what I should say?

Purchased in for $270.
