Customer Service is at best SHAMEFULL – Sent email to company on 29th August to inform them their redemption order for that table saw stand was not compatible with the purchased table saw. I asked what they intend to do due to this. The only feedback received was that my query was escalated TWICE, not once. Still to date, I have not received any reply on this matter. The saw stand sent was not that shown, and the table saw had to be modified to fit it to the stand sent. The instructions show it not to be suitable with that saw and makes this supposedly portable table saw UNPORTABLE because it is bolted on and cannot be folded. This defeats the ability of this saw to become portable as described. I have noticed on Youtube the actual stand for the saw is totally different and also has wheels attached to make the saw portable when folded. Unlike the unfoldable rubbish I was sent and have not received any replies yet on this. It is obvious that Dewalt has chosen to ignore and NOT resolve this issue or reply to my emails.

Excellent little saw – I've no woodworking experience so this is review from a hackers point of view. I bought this saw.after 1st buying and returning the $200 ozito death machine. Had a look at the next step up, Ryobi (not too bad and better than the Makita IMO for the price) and the the Makita for $650 but the rip fence doesn't lock at both ends so can move during a cut. Ended up shelling out the $850 for the Dewalt and couldnt believe the difference in quality. Fence locks both ends as is on rails that move with precision, unlike any of the cheaper models. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH THIS TYPE PRODUCT!!! For the safety aspect alone, this saw leaves the others for dead!

Highly Recommended!
