Works as advertised with common sense – There are two versions of this powder. The 3 chemical and 2 chemical version. One is advertised as sensitive and the other is for remove the really stubborn stuff. I bought the 3 chemical version the stronger. 1/4 filled up the bathtub with hotest water from the tap. Soaked all the bed lined while wife was away in Queensland. Rinsed it… Read more

throughougly and I could not be happier. Everthything is sparkly clean. I wouldn't try any soaker in the washing machine as it will kill the bearings and seals. I fully mixed in the chemicals with the hot water first. As I am not an iriot. I basically consider this to be a nuke version of nappy san. Nothing turned yellow and my nose has not dropped off my face. But as stated I did rinse thoroughly after 2 days of soaking. OMG the dirt that came out was disgusting.

Doesn't work in cold water – Doesn't contain TAED that's needed to activate the peroxide in the sodium percarbonate when used in cold water. Doesn't work in cold water. It's cheap, so you might still want to use it. Just use it in hot water.

Exactly same ingredient as vanish – This product works well, make sure it is dissolved properly in hot water before soaking clothes and then washed afterwards. It is exactly the same ingredient as others, vanish etc. I have been using it for years and years with no rash or irritant. At less than half the price of others, it is much better value! Show details

DONT USE THIS PRODUCT! – Bought di-san Pro from aldi last weekend as an alternative to napisan and have had the worst rashes under each of my armpits and they burn severely! Just went and dumped the rest in the bin, will not use ever again! Show details

Product is like bleach - ruins clothes – I used this product as a laundry soaker and it stained a grey shirt pink. Thought it was the shirt until I just ruined a brand new pair of pink pants that are now white and splotchy with pink patches. This stuff ruins clothes, don't buy it.  Show details

This review is for the powder as pictured – Some reviews here seem to be referring to a spray version of this product, not the one pictured. That said, I have never really used the spray and can't comment further on it This review is for the powder which I have used extensively, both for soaking and as an in-wash boost. Just ensure product is dissolved in water and you will have no problems. It works as well as the more expensive Vanish. Why pay more. Show details

Works great – Have been using this for a few years now and never had a problem. (Family of 5) Always works how it's meant to, weather that be on colours, whites, stains, grease, dirt etc... The trick is to follow the instructions first. Never put in with your wash unless you dissolve it first, even for a wash boost. Highly recommended, just as good as the most expensive soaker. Show details

Works fine – I dissolve the powder (half a lid), and the washing detergent in water completely, before putting it into the machine. Never had a problem with any washed items. I use it in every wash and with all items (except wool). I think it works just as well as the more expensive brands. Show details

Expensive work uniform ruined – I used this soaker as a cheaper alternative to a known brand. Washed some blacks without issue but then when I washed my whites, total disaster. The blue flecks in the inwash treatment stained my clothes. Worst of all a brand new expensive uniform piece for work is utterly ruined and I can't afford to replace it. I've tried numerous products to… Read more

remove the flecks with no luck. So upset. Threw the almost full tub in the bin and won't be using any Aldi washing products in future. Going back to the tried and true known brands.

ALDI Di SAN turned my whites to a yellow mess! – I have reported it to ALDI that my whites have turned yellow. Returned the product to be investigated and all they can say is I didn’t follow the care instructions of my clothing. It turned my simple cotton white shirts and white bed sheets to yellow! Simply saying ALDI does not believe their product Di San sucks! Even told them thousands of… Read more

people have the same issues with the same product! Never again will I buy this product and slowly moving back to Coles and Woolies for our basic household necessities.

Didn't have a good exspierience – Everyone was telling me how good it is but it left an orange stain.on.my sons Adidas trackies and a few other items, was lucky it was only the top of the trackies so if he wears his jacket its not as noticeable but still anoyed that it happens won't be using it again

Left my whites with an orange stain – Soaked a tshirt and some white socks in it (followed directions on packaging) and it has left the most of the tshirt orange and socks have orange tinges all over them (not even where the stain was). Pretty annoyed.

Great Result & Price – I have been using this product for over a year now and I find it does an excellent job on my whites. I soak them overnight in the Di-San which I find gives the best results, Since using this I have not had any of my whites turn that horrible grey tint that they tend to go.

Not bad for the price – This is always on my shopping list. I use this in every load, it just helps get those little stains out that washing powder doesn't. If i have something that needs to be soaked i put a cap full in & soak in hot water overnight in a bucket or in the machine. It does get stains out. Works great on colours. It's worth a try especially for the price it's nearly half the price as the major brand.

Great for caravan toilet cassettes – We use this product in our caravan cassette toilet. It has a higher percentage of sodium percarbonate than the expensive brands, which I'm told is the active ingredient. It works and it's considerably cheaper than the products sold for this purpose at caravan accessory shops etc. Plus it's not harmful to dispose of at dump points.

Caravan er s pal – Very good for breaking up solids does not kill septic tank bacteria safe for the environment with a dash of eucalyptus oil and far more thrifty than others good all-rounder

Seems good on stains but degreaser leaves stinky fumes! – Use the prewash spray on baby stains (poop and spew) and it works well except spray nozzle seems clogged, difficult to pump. The fumes are really bad though and have to hold my breath spraying or else get a sneezing fit. The pink degreaser version is even worse and the fumes epic, they don't rinse out even with full cycle through the machine so… Read more

finding i need to rinse out 2-3 times before allowing baby clothes near my bub as fear the allergic consequences on delicate skin not to mention my nose (sneezing/hayfever) shame because i like most Aldi stuff.

Stain remover that stains! – Used Di-San previous to the new packaging of the Oxi-Action. It appears the spring in the trigger reacts with the pre-wash and rusts causing a yellow/orange spray leaving a yellow stain! Successfully ruined a couple of old favourites and a new top before figuring out what the problem was.

The worst stain remover I have ever used – I have a beautiful white bedspread which I have had for many years. Like many times before I gave the bedspread a hit with a product to remove some "minor" marks. Unfortunately this time I gave Di-San OxyPre-wash stain remover a go.What a mistake! There is a large yellow patch where I sprayed and I have tried to wash it out 3 times. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Yellow stain on white clothes – They must of changed their formula as now I am finding if I soak my whites yellow stains appear around sweaty areas where their was no previous stain! Same as other reviews below.

Left yellow stains on my clothes – I mixed soaker as per instructions to remove some stains out some dressy white shirts and singlets. It removed the stains but I found yellow marks on my clothes not related to the initial stain. I've tried other soakers and washing powders to remove the yellow marks with no luck. I've only recently had a problem with this is the last year.… Read more

Perhaps they change something.

Stained my white top!! – I sprayed a white top with Di-San Oxy Pre-Wash stain remover and it sprayed orange onto my top, I have soaked my top overnight and tried other products and I cannot get the stain out, this product has ruined my top. I would never buy this again.

Danger this ruined my new white shorts! – This product should be removed off the shelves! It ruined a brand new pair of white shorts. Left a yellow stain where the spray landed and it can't be removed. Soaked the shorts in napisan for 5 hours, then put direct bleach on the stain and it still won't budge! It needs to be taken off the market!

DANGER WARNING: Leaves Orange Stains on Whites – Big fan of Aldi. Have progressively moved almost all my shopping to Aldi. Find the equivalent product to Woolies and Coles favourites. However, Di-San Oxy is a dud. Reacts with something in the water on any area where there is sweat to leave a Orange/Brown Stain that cannot be removed. Even the Woolies Laundry Soaker could not remove the stain.… Read more

Should come with a DANGER WARNING label = DO NOT USE with Whites. Have to throw out some good white dress shirts.

Really happy – This is a great product for a great price. I use half a cap in every wash and occasionally as a soak. Colours always bright and whites are always whites, gets out most stains without having to spot clean first. Really good when used to soak, nothing bad to say. Good – I mainly use this product for soaking out food, grass and general dirt stains on bibs and my toddlers clothing as well as for nappy/training pants. I tend to soak for 1 to 2 days and have found it gets out 95% of the stains with the occaisonal shadow left (if you look hard). As for nappy soaker it's fabulous - never a mark left. Good – This is another good product from the cheap German supermarket chain Aldi and it really is priced cheaply. It is a good soaker and does the job and leaves clothes feeling quite clean. It does a good job with stains but like most stains, some are going to be hard to get rid of no matter what product you use. This soaker is definitely worth giving a… Read more ·  1

Excellent – Overall I use this product a lot and would recommend it. I have two young children and there is always a bucket of this soaker in my laundry. On occassion an item may need to be soaked again but I think for the price difference compared to the top of the line Napisan products, I'm willing to do this. Works well both as a soaker and as an in-wash… Read more

booster with normal washing detergent. Very economical compared to other brands like Napisan and does as good a job. Good size container that fits in laundry cupboard easily. It doesn't seem to get out very tough stains - sometimes need to spray with a pre-wash treatment and then soak again

Good – I started buying DiSan at Aldi just to try it out. It is not as good as the enzyme power Napisan but it is just as good as the regular Napisan product. It does not work on really heavy dried stains like rust… Read more

marks or dried blood, for that I still use the top of the line Napisan enzyme product. Almost as good as Napisan and much cheaper Only comes in one size whereas you can buy Napisan in the really big pack to save money.
