Waste of Money - Avoid – Disconnects when standing near connected device Don't bother buying if you want to walk with them in as they continue to drop out I had the previous model and they were much better Show details
Can't connect – These earbuds can't connect to my Samsung S10 or even show up on the bluetooth list. Pointless if I can't use them at all. Show details
Amazing and invincible – I accidentally dropped it from my balcony to a stell then it fell into a puddle and worked perfect after like omg! So much better than airpods not a waste of money at all!only problem is sometimes they glitch but that's ok Show details
Really good for the money – I am very rough with ear buds/earphones and therefore would not pay a couple of hundred dollars for Apple ripoff products as I would just break them within a month or two. So I bought the Digitech as I expected to lose or break them in a relatively short time. I have been really pleased with their performance over the last few years. They easily… Read more
pair with all my bluetooth equipment, laptop, TV, Samsung cellphone etc and perform well sound wise especially for the low price. As predicted I have ruined at least 3 sets due to my own rough treatment not the fault of the earbuds. I liked them so much after the first pair (which I ruined by accidentally putting them through the washing machine) that I bought 5 pairs of which I now have only two left after my hard treatment. They have all worked perfectly straight out of the box and work for 3.5-4.0 hrs on one charge. And I only paid about $89.75 AUS for all 5 sets , a real bargain. Also of the two sets (with charge case) that I have now accidentally washed the right ear earbud and the charging case still works in both sets. So for the price I think these are very good products.
Waste of time and money – Bought 2 sets of these Digitech TWS Earphones (AA2143) Have had 1 set replaced 3 times in less than 3 months... now the other set is doing the same thing..... right ear bud will not charge properly. The quality control is really crap........ if I had read the reviews that I have read I would never had bought these. My wife bought another brand and have not had an issue with them as much as these..... Be warned look for a better brand...... Show details
wish we read reviews first – brought 2 sets. one doesnt even charge, the other only one ear works. did charge the second set with the same charge station and also only one ear works. waist of money Show details
Cannot hold a connection – I bought these blue-tooth earbuds to listen to podcasts while working in the garden and going for a walk. Although they are reasonably comfortable, do not fall out of the ear and the sound quality is OK for spoken word, they will not maintain a solid blue-tooth connection when outdoors. One channel or the other constantly drops out and immediately… Read more
re-connects which is really annoying. The connection is OK indoors but it also occasionally drops out there too. This is the second set I have tried as the first set (returned to Jaycar under warranty) had an even worse connection issue. I would not recommend these el-cheapos but I suppose you get what you pay for.
Too loud for quiet listening and no volume control – Too loud for quiet listening and no volume control. The lowest option using the phones volume control is too loud for listening to background music and one click lower tuts the sound off.
Confused – The earphones won’t work together at the same time, only one earphone can work at a time eg. For music. Also when pressing the left earphone it makes my phone randomly start to call a random number. Show details
I’ve really tried.... but this product is the worst – Bought 2 sets thinking these are cheap so not expecting much in terms of quality of audio/longevity and even possibly the fit. But it was worse then even my lowest expectations and to be honest is not fit for sale. Let’s start with the good: 1) fit is a 5/10, they appear similar in design to apple earphones but the audio is projected in an odd… Read more
way so to get decent sound you have to angle them just right. This I can live with. 2) sound does come out of them a bit tinny but I’m no audiophile, so fit for purpose I suppose. 3) Bluetooth as stated.
The rest of the specifications appear to be all out false advertising. The epically horrendously embarrassingly bad. I have tried many many different charging techniques to troubleshoot these and problem solve what might be wrong. -The case always states 93% charged (tested with 2 different cases on 3 different iPhones (also different models) In other words the readout is incorrect at all times. -the headphones work for one use to get 1.5hr playback time Tested: leaving them charging for full days (result 10% and 30%) Tested charging the case then removing to charge earphones (Result 20% and 40%) Tested pushing them down into charging contacts harder (Result 20% and 0% turned off immediately) I have tested a number of other ways to make these things work and all I can say is Jaycar should be embarrassed to stock this item, I would buy a cheap import knockoff and suspect I would have a better outcome.
I suspect they know these are dodgy hence the current discounting, and I suspect they know many people cannot be bothered to head back to the store to get their money back. Supporting brick and mortar store fail.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly! – The Good - Price = cheap as chips! Fit snuggly in your ears without hurting. The Bad - Length of charge. Up to 3hrs play time? Wow! and up to 2hr charge time? I mean c'mon! The Ugly - Regular Loss of Connection. Playing a song one earbud will just cut out and then restart, then the other might do the same. Phone was within 2 feet when it claims a… Read more
range of 10m. Used with IPhone 11. Like I said, you get what you pay for, and can I say a $250 pair would be that much better? NO! But for another $30 or so maybe they could have improved the product just that bit more.
Five dollar earphones are better – If you are thinking of buying this product, please, just pass. It is not worth it. These earphones don't stay charged once they are fully charged in the charging case. If they turn off, then you have to put them back in their charging case to turn them back on again. One of the ears broke off and caused it to crack after one day of having them.… Read more
The sound volume is fine. I wouldn't use these for any physical activities except walking. These earphones are a rip-off.
Who designs a charging system that doesn’t keep the charge? – The A2143 model is terrible. Whoever designed the charging system for these headphones needs to be castrated. Or sacked. The headphones can be plugged in to charge, which is normal. You would expect that once the headphones are fully charged, they would simply retain that full charge, right? WRONG. Unlike every other electronic device in the… Read more
world, these headphones do not remain charged once fully charged. Nope. Instead, once fully charged, the headphones slowly drop in charge (even while still plugged in), meaning that I have to specifically remember to charge them 3 hours before I actually want to use them. If I don’t charge them 3 hours before I want to use them, then I’m out of luck because they won’t have enough charge to be useful for longer than 20 minutes.
I am honestly so perplexed by the poor charging system I can’t understand how they even got to store shelves. I feel genuine anger towards these headphones, specifically because of the fact that they don’t remain charged.
Aside from the charging issue, the sound is fine, the range is fine, the overall functionality and aesthetic design is fine.
The thing that destroys this product is the awful charging system. Don’t buy them. You will be disappointed and upset at a product which should work but doesn’t.
Love these wireless earphones – I bought these wireless earphones from Jaycar in Dec 2019 for $29.95 as I couldn't afford the Samsung wireless earphones. I'm so happy with them. I only need to re-charge them about every 3 days as I only use them for my daily 45 min walk. I can pause or answer phone calls by pressing a button on the earphone. They're amazing value. I liked them so much that I bought my sister a set.
