Purchased this Heater 3 days ago just to have a Heater to sit in front and take the edge off the temperature in the room. I know it would not heat the whole room. I was sitting 5ft from it and my wife was 4ft from it and we both could not feel the fan nor any heat. If you are outside a 2 ft 180 degree arc from the Heater you cannot feel anything. Also another issue was whilst it was oscillating it stopped and tripped the power safety switch, so obviously something happened with the Heater itself. Not happy at all...
Follow-up · I took the unit back to retailer and they were great. Was refunded the money and did some more searching for a better quality heater. A week later purchased a Dyson H12, much better as can feel warmth sitting 6-7 ft away. The room is large with cathedral ceilings so i did not expect the dimplex to make the room an oven but still should have been able to feel warm air from the unit
Hello I have returned the unit to the retailer and also I spoke to Dimplex and reported the issue. The retailer offered me a replacement but I refused and requested a refund. I said once bitten. I did not want another Dimplex. I said we will stick to a blanket & a hoodie to keep warm.

Perfect for a small bedroom! – I got this on special, even full price I would buy another! It has a fan setting, heat setting 1, and heat setting 2 you can adjust on a scale. I love it! I recommended it to a few people, and our cheap heater went in one of our other bedrooms so will probably buy this one again!!

Just what I wanted – I bought this heater for my bathroom. I have light and heat globes in the ceiling but in the winter months these do not give sufficient heat. This heater is ideal for what I wanted. Smart and sleek in design with temperature control. Tilt button on the base so will cut out if knocked over.

Powerful and good heating device. Worth the buy – I have the unit in my living room and it is effective in heating capacity. The unit is adequate for my requirement. It can maintain set temperature. So far it is performing as expected.
