Just out of guarantee and Dimplex refuse to send a repair engineer. Fire now useless – Had fire for 31 months. Repaired once under guarantee, but now out of guarantee Dimplex will not send out repair engineer, love the look of this fire, willing to pay for repairs, so now have a £650 completely useless black lump. even on the lowest heat setting we noticed a 1-2 degree increase in room temperature. Our cat loves it! She lives in front of the fire. If it’s a warm day you can just have the flames on rather than the heat. Love it.

Perfect for cosy bedroom – This is an amazing heater for a main bedroom adding an unbelievable opulent atmosphere. When we put this on and it is raining inside we feel like we are at a ski resort in Canada. Also the heat that it omits is great, can warm a large bedroom in just 10 minutes. Hopeless – I waited more than a year for them to get this item in. Several emails later and they tell me they gave most of their product to David Jones. I am in a regional area and was asking them to get the item to our local stores because they would not let me buy it directly. My local Harvey Norman and Good Guys never had the product even tho they knew that I was wanting it. Hopeless service. Now I have markings on my walls where there was supposed to be a fireplace for Christmas in July. Thank you Dimplex Australia for your horrible customer service. I like the hope of the unit. I have never seen it in person but it looks nicer than all the others. I cannot get one because Dimplex didn't bring enough in and they are extremely expensive at $999. I can get a reasonable substitute for $200 at Costco. Very bad customer service.
