Do not buy this product!! – Dishwasher has malfunctioned twice within 3 years, same problem - error 30. Known problem with this product yet Electrolux refuses to acknowledge this. It has been cared for well, rinsed dishes, clean filters, took plastic wrap off tablets (as directed by technician that fixed it first time). Spent more $$$ to buy a good product, ended up costing… Read more
me heaps in repairs. No wonder it has been discontinued!! Probably best to keep away from Dishlex products, I will, especially with their poor customer service.
terrible!! – Brought this dishwasher January 2016. It lasted 1 year. Ive had to rewash so many cycles and have used nothing but the best tablets. It is also quite loud, i can hear it from the other end of my house over my 5yr old and 1 yr old. Errors such as .10 and .30 always popping up. Technician is on there way, lucky we are still under warranty. Show details
Piece of crap do not buy this – Got purchased this as a gift in Jan '16 and worked fine until May '17. Continuously gets a .40 error, which is not on the manual, when we found the error means there is a blockage, we checked all the pipes etc and found nothing is wrong. Device has been maintained and cleaned well and there is no reason for it to not function, but it just keeps… Read more
giving that same error code. sometimes a reset will make it work, but last time i used it I reset at least 6 times before if finally worked.
Often does not clean 100%, Broken twice now – We got this as part of the house package on March 2015. We started using it the following May. First malfunction was on June 2016 when it encountered error .30. This was with normal use eco mode with no solids left on the dirty dishes. We got a Dishlex technician to check it out as still within warranty. It got fixed and we were told a part had to… Read more
be replaced. It worked fine since then until today when it again encountered error .30 less than one year since it was repaired. I'm quite disappointed with it as I thought it was a good product. I will now have to call Dishlex again to see if it can still be fixed as part of warranty.
The unit is nosier that what I would prefer and it does not always clean the dishes 100%. Often we would need to return back dishes to the rack for the next cycle because it did not clean it properly the first time around.
Do not buy this dishwasher! – Terrible terrible dishwasher! Does not clean properly at all and now after having it for a year, it has broken down. Go for a good quality dishwasher and I don't recommend ever buying a Dishlex, this was my first and ONLY time i'll buy one! Not worth your money, you can get better! Show details

Good Machine and price even better – This is truly a good machine to own, not only it is quiet, it also clean dishes like they were meant to be cleaned and I like using the programmes which is very simple yet effective, glassware does not seem to come clean as other items and on some occasions had to wash them again, but for the price I paid I still think its a good machine Show details
Prefer to hand wash – This was installed in a rental unit I lease. I regularly clean the machine and de scale it, can not get a clean load of dishes!! Constant grit on glassware and plates still have food on them even when rinsed. I think if I put clean dishes in the machine it would return them dirty!! I have given up on even using the dishwasher and now just hand wash!!! Show details
They don't make them like they used to! – Our old Dishlex did a great job and lasted more than 10 years, but not this one. Have never really been happy with it's dishwashing performance, but after only 15 months we have called the service centre for the 2ND TIME!! water continually filling first and now continually pumping! Don't buy! Show details

Waste of money – I had this dishwasher installed in January 2016. It has never completely cleaned the dishes and I am one who rinses well before loading it up. Still very unhappy. My husband called it a waste of money and should be thrown out as it only increasing my water and electricity bill and the finish tablets as we are always having to run two cycle and even then we don't 100% clean dishes. So disappointing. There no other way to rate it other than LOW!

So disappointing – Due to an accident during renovation of my kitchen I killed a basic Ariston stainless steel dishwasher, so I decided to replace it and there were specials on the top-of-the-range Dishlex. So I bought this. It is next to unusable. The dish baskets are such awkward shapes that unless you are washing what dishlex thinks a standard wash consists of,… Read more
they will not fit. The bottom basket is useless. The 'fold down' dish holder is not strong enough to stay up with anything other than plates, if you try and stand curved bowls there the prongs will fall over - useless. I ended up replacing it with the one from my old Ariston. This made the unit at least usable. The shape of the top basket is also ridiculous, very little in the way of level surfaces so filling this with cups, etc. is problematic. The quality of the wash is IMO also less than my cheaper Ariston was giving with many items coming out less than clean.
On the plus side, looks very well built so it will not break down and I will have this heap of garbage for ever.
What a waste of money – I've had trouble with this dishwasher from day one. Never cleans the dishes completely, I've used good quality dishwashing tabs and cleaned the filter all to no avail. I put the load on again and again but it still doesn't work so I end up washing them up myself. I was going to buy the cheapest I could find but decided to pay a bit extra so I'd be happy with what I bought, I'm very disappointed.

Updated old Dishlex for this – 8 year old Dishlex had a couple of electrical faults (switch burnt out replaced, then unknown circuit breaking fault) so decided to replace rather than repair. This one I found at a store 2 km away, so put in hatchback and was installed in 1/2 hour. Smarter and better than old one, as has load sensing like my washing machine. I expect it to last another 8 years (my 3rd Dishlex in 20 years). Show reply
Early days – Have had this for a week now, and I can't complain. Does the job it's supposed to do and it's very quiet. I particularly like the feature for using the multi tabs (these came as a sample). That works. I wouldn't bother with the Eco feature - it doesn't really give the best result - I've found the same with other brands. Unlike its previous… Read more
model, the glasses stand up and stay put in the rack. However, I'm not sure why it tells me its going to take 2.5 hours to do a cycle, because it doesn't actually take that long, but that's minor issue at this stage.

So far so good – Brought the Dishlex DSF6305X one month ago after a Miele G 1220 turned out to be a dud. The Dishlex was a third of the price I paid for the Miele and so far I am happy with the Dishlex. The inside isn't as big as my last dishwasher, but I wash a load everyday and it is fine. I find the Dishlex quieter than the Miele. Dishes are coming out clean… Read more
and dry, and the bottom draw holds my large plates the Miele didn't hold. The Dishlex doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Miele, but I didn't use the delayed start or other fancy features anyway. Control panel is basic but easy to use. I paid $450 in repairing the Miele over 3 years - almost the price of this Dishlex. The Miele was only 4 years old when first broke down- I thought I was buying a quality product with the Miele, but apparently not! Dishlex has won me over, the machine is a good price and works well.
Poor cleaning performance – We have had a Dishlex DSF6305X (the stainless steel version of the 6305W) for about 3 months now and I wanted to give it a chance before writing this review. Unfortunately the cleaning performance just isn't up to standard. Even the longest and most intensive wash cycle still leaves deposits of food and grit on the dishes. The drying function… Read more
doesn't work well either, and even if the dishes are dry water is retained in the top spray arm, so as soon as you move the top basket it drips all over the dishes in the bottom rack. Overall we are disappointed.

Good so far and happy! – We just bought a new model Dishlex DSF6305W. There are two models available in this range, designated as either W (for white) or X (for stainless steel). We've had it only a few weeks but so far we have been happy with the performance and the cleaning has been very good. One noticeable feature is that we find it extremely quiet, which is a welcome… Read more · 1
relief after our very noisy former DeLonghi machine - which has unfortunately lasted only 4 years.
The wash options are good and sufficient for most average households I would think, with the 30 minute 'Quick Wash' being a great option for a quick load. Also, the 'Auto off' feature is good for when we set it in the evening before going to bed and knowing it will switch itself off when finished. For our family the unit takes all the normal-sized plates and cups we use and the adjustable top drawer allows for the bottom drawer to take slightly bigger plates etc.
I'd recommend this unit to anyone searching for a good moderately-priced dishwasher.
