New to drones and love the ease of use of the Mavic Mini
I am new to drones and drone flying and decided to invest in a DJI Mavic Mini and I am amazed. I am only on my 3rd flight and the drone has already been able to produce great footage and photos. The 2.7K video is amazing for this drone and I could not ask for more for the price I paid (even though it doesn't have the "follow me" or tracking option - not that important to me currently). After the initial setup the drone connects to the phone without any issues and I am able to take off, fly and land easily. I was sure that I would need a lon...g time to learn to fly a drone but the DJI Mavic Mini just makes it easy. Furthermore, the videos and photos from this drone gives a different perspective to my photo collection which I am very excited about. I also purchased the DJI care package for the year, which to me is an insurance against any unintended loss. For now, every happy with the DJI Mavic Mini and can recommend.

Way better than the Spark!
The Mavic mini is my third drone and I love it. It's easy to pilot and is more responsive than the DJI Spark, with controls feeling smoother even though they're very similar.
A huge upside is the battery life (20-30+ minutes)! If you order the Flymore combo, it comes with 3 of them. THREE! That's over an hour+ of flight time! More than enough time to get that great shot. You can literally use the first battery for reconnaissance, the second to practice taking photos/videos and the third to do highly tuned shots. It's fabulous.
As expected w...ith DJI, the build quality is superb, and tech has advanced miles over the short years since I first bought the Spark, and the portability of the mini, is a marvel in and of itself. Everything you need can be packed snugly into a nice case that comes with the combo (only exception is the properllor guards). Unlike the Spark, where you have to buy a bag to fit everything. So far, I've flown it over Sunshine Coast and WhitSundays, with crisp photos and 2.7k videos. All easily transferrable via wifi to your mobile, which is easily editable via the app. Happy days. Recommend this one 100% over the spark.

Questions & Answers
Hello, in how many knots can it fly ? I would like to get one for kitesurfing videos !
Wow! I’m sure it’ll capture great footage for kitesurfing.
Note - This is a very light drone. Less than 249g, and gets pushed around, even in moderate wind but the gimble does a great job stabilising the footage.
I’d say, anything above 18-20 knots max, even then, you should be careful. Above 21 knots, probably unsafe for it. It will warn you if it’s too windy too, so that’s helpful.
I believe the upgraded DJI Mini 2 has slightly stronger motors so that may also be a good option for you.
Although this has up to 30mins flight time, flying against wind puts pressure on the motors and will run the battery out faster. This also applies when you use sport-mode (max flight speed of up to 46kph).
Rest assured, the battery does have a time indicator that counts down and adjusts depending on how you’re flying it.
Hope that helps :)
Thanks so much for your help !
I also have an other question is there a big difference between the mavic mini and the mini 2 ?
If so which one would you recommend for kitesurfing footage ?
Thank you !
Sorry I just saw in your answer you already said smth about the mini 2. So you think the minin2 would be better for me ?
