Once again my local Dome cafe has come up short on service - I gave them a 3rd chance but they are again VERY slow while not very busy, and again, forgot my cake order entirely!! All the staff are very young and perhaps inexperienced, and it seems that every time I come here the faces are different - staff turnover seems high!! Unfortunately I dont think I will be back, which I am sad about as I have been a patron of Dome for a very long time

My friend took me for breakfast at the Dome Cafe Mirrabooka WA. Mine arrived minus the smoked salmon which they insisted had not been ordered and admittedly she wasn’t charged for, however the thick slice of ‘toasted’ Ciabatta was just a lump of untoasted bread with avocado and slightly warm poached eggs on top. I ate a couple of mouthfuls and… Read more

then called a waitress who said ‘sorry I’ll tell the chef. 3/4 hour later we left with the dirty dishes still on our table. The whole experience was disgusting.

Coffee is nice. Tried french toast was soggy the taste reminded me of bread and butter pudding. The strawberries the best part.

Went to Dome Coogee this morning...my daughter and i had the Vegetarian breakfast...hadn't had that for a while. It's the little things that matter... "Toast" was absolutely white on one half of the slice and barely cooked on the other half Baked beans were cold Mushrooms...BARELY any...guess they're trying to save money... Butter was placed UNDER… Read more

the hash brown etc on the side of the plate, and it was literally liquid and I just poured it on my "toast" instead of spreading it because it had melted that much, and I did open it straight away, so it's not as if it sat there for ages! I hardly eat out, but it seems to be a thing these days that you don't get a side plate for your bread/toast whatever any more...I'm guessing to save buying/washing extra dishes but ffs it's so hard trying to keep your food on your plate, and you have to just put it on a serviette... NOT good enough...

NO REAL BUTTER ⁉️ What a surprising disappointment at the DOME Cafe at Subiaco, WA ⁉️ We love the Dome cafeteria and have been regular customers for probably about 30 years. Hence ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Until today we have been well served at many locations and therefore we were regularly coming back. Today, at noon on 31 March 2026 at the "Subiaco Dome" I… Read more

asked for one of our favorite treats, "ciabatta with berry jam and real butter", instead of the spreadable margarine or Lurpak substitute.

I was trying to explain to a new assistant at the cashier that normally I get the "kitchen real butter" instead of the pad of spreadable Lurpak or margarine. In this case the assistant turned to a new manager that informed me that there will not be any more  the "kitchen butter". And I said that I am not using "margarine". The young lady manager didn't see any way to find a solution to satisfy the customer expectation or she lacks such skills❓ She has decided not to serve us.

As per attached photo, the Dome Cafe offers the ciabatta toast with a butter and in number of places where they had only spreadable margarine than the "kitchen real butter" was offered.

I think that the DOME Cafe management should address this issue of the real butter availability as not all customers use alternative controversial spreadable.  Thanks.

PS: After 3 weeks of waiting for reply, without answer, I still see the issue unresolved. On 22 April there is still the "real butter" not available at the Subiaco Dome Cafe. Therefore, I contacted the Perth Dome H/O for clarification. Hope to receive reply.

ordered a takeaway cappuccino this morning at Dome Banksia Grove. Less than a minute later, a guy walks through the door dressed in casual attire and makes his way behind the counter. The barista on duty steps aside while this ‘random’ person proceeds to make himself a coffee in his own take away travel mug with ‘Luke’ labeled on the side wall.… Read more

Once he finished and left, the barista went back to making my coffee. I asked who that man was to which I was advised, Luke and he is the owners partner. I then asked if that was why he was able to come in after I had placed my order and leave before I got my coffee.

I love Dome - Banksia Grove but I don’t think this is a very good look at all - having people behind the counter not in any kind of uniform. I would also like to point out, Luke’s hands were not washed before touching any equipment behind the counter. Appreciate not paying for the coffee as such but I feel his order should have been placed in the queue and made by the barista on duty.

I have been visiting th Dome coffee shop in Manning road , manning several times a week since it opened a few months ago. In general the quality and presentation of the food and coffee is quite good. Always , without exception I need to clear a table of the previous customers dirty dishes so I can use the table myself. Last night 15 Feb 2026… Read more

6.30 at the Manning store which motivated me to write this review. The Dome restaurant was occupied by not more than about 10-15 customers in total. All unoccupied tables had dirty plates and cups on them. As usual I cleared my own table to sit. I ordered coffee and chips and calamari .(a very simple snack) about $30 worth. . I waited an hour without the food coming. I counted 4 staff in the restaurant area. Only a couple of new customers arriving . Still nearly all used tables had dirty dishes untouched. I asked 3 different staff members about my food coming and waiting time. With no result , and barely any acknowledgement of my problem. Eventually , after a very aggressive barrage from a lady with a pony tail, I decided it was time to go. I eventually got a slow response of money back from a slim man with long ponytail and a pleasant manner. In general , my experiences at this restaurant have been ok, as long as I don’t mind clearing my own table. However , the manner of a few of the staff overall has always been questionable. Yesterday evening was just an expansion of previous visits. I just have not experienced this bad before.

The food at this Dome is hit and miss. Had a chicken wrap today, when i got to almost the end I felt a hair in my mouth, I almost gagged, it was a 20 cm long hair caught in the wrap. It was disgusting. I gave it to the staff. A young man with long… Read more

hair loosely tied into a bun, with a long fringe hanging over his face was in and out of the kitchen, obviously a kitchen hand and most likely making wraps. His hair was about the length and colour that I came across, no hat. I will never go back there. I am so sick of dirty and shoddy food places. I bet no one washes their hands either when they've been to the toilet, it's not part of their culture. I still want to gag. I didn't have my phone. Otherwise would have taken a photo. I received a refund, but that was not the point. It's the carelessness and lack of hygiene that bothers me the most.

Follow-up  · I will never go back there. I don't do take away, occasionally I eat out, after this experience I think twice. Hygiene everywhere is doubtful. This has left a very bitter taste in my mouth... literally. Can't beat home cooked meals from scratch

I do love Domes seafood basket at Geraldton Dome cafe, but overall their service is very poor. 2 weeks ago went for a coffee with my daughter inlaw. I ordered a cappuccino extra hot and my daughter a can of Coke and cake. My coffee arrived in 2 minutes, good, but only warm. But my daughter inlaw waited 26 minutes for her coke and cake. pathetic. Would not recommend. If I could give 0 Stars I would. Staff are Rude. We took my daughter and my daughters Assistance Dog in at 6.50am Thursday 8th January (Assistance Dogs have Full Public Access Rights so can go into cafes and don't have to be outside) Sat at a table indoors (Perhaps a total of 4 other people in the cafe) and Worker come over… Read more

and said Assistance Dog is not allowed in clearly Dogs Vest is visible I explained they were and why and showed her the jacket. Told again she cant come in but refused to listen said Manager had sent her over to tell me - Meanwhile Manager was hiding near coffee machine. I said I will speak to Manager then Manager came over and repeated not allowed. I said they are and explained it and to refuse is Discrimination etc Manager said still not allowed I again repeated they are and she walked off. Both rude employees that don't know rules of Assistance Animals. By then my daughter was getting angry ( She has Autism) I sat there and then thought why am I giving these people any time and money when daughter was now clearly becoming distressed so I walked out and said I will report you for discrimination and then Manager piped in from hiding and said thats ok you can stay here its ok!!! Would never stay, would never go back again, would never give them any money absolute disgrace and I will be reporting Dome Cafe Warwick. Staff need to have better training around these Assistance Animals and make sure they know the rules and guidelines and surely when you are in a Manager's position you don't send other people to do your job for you and hide.

This is at Dome at kwinana. I am regular to this outlet. them not to. I believe it is Dome's responsibilty to maintain hygiene so your customers can dine with a peace of mind. I have seen this happen more than 10 times now. Its the same person all the time. She brings her child to the taekwando training and sits at the dome's table with her feet up while waiting. Nothing bought and today, after awhile she was lying down on the couch. I hope we dont see this anymore.

Dome Coogee. Nice staff. Fish was thin and processed. Chips floury and tasteless. Stomach issues a few hours later. Never again.

Family Orientated Cafe with loving and inviting atmosphere – I had the pleasure of meeting your amazing staff whilst visiting DOME Byford Exceptional customer service! Perfect Chai latte ☕️staff were accomodating especially being a public holiday. Food is always great and I appreciate the overall experience having worked in hospitality. The Whanau vibe this cafe gave was refreshing and I highly recommend tourists and locals pop in to say hello and enjoy the serene surrounding and lovely art

Disgusting food – Food is fit for the rubbish bin! I ordered scones which were like rocks. They "remade" them but were just as bad & inedible. They offered an alternative/substitute so I ordered raisin toast. Who cannot even maje a nice, hot piece of raisin toast??!! Clearly Dome Belmont can't. 1/2 cooked & cold. I gave up!! Couldnt even be bothered expending my energy on returning to the counter to complain again. No idea what this cafe has going for it

Disappointment in health department policy ignored – When dining in at the Dome coogee today, a customer bought in his large dog with him. I've had to accept dogs outside but surely a dog inside is breaking health department policy. Very poor form. Coffee was ok but dog hair and food do nothing for me.

The worst! – I ordered meals and drinks for 3 amounting to $95. Coffee was cold and tasted like instant. Bacon was cold, haloumi and falafel were reheated. Rosti was pale and doughy. I just got home and I feel sick!

Dome Cafe is mostly good – First time at a Dome Cafe today, at Rockingham WA. Normal poor WA customer service, but otherwise good. Coffee certainly not the World's Finest. Suggest they go OS and try a Costa's coffee.

Good atmosphere bad food and coffee and music – The music is terrible!!!! They should at least use no-word music instead!!! Coffee is the key product in a cafe. At Dome cafe is mostly bad!! Cold, heaps of foam and sometimes even half empty!!!

The Dome don't care – We visited Dome on Rottnest Island on the 23rd March 2004. We ordered six meals. All of the meals were sub-standard. The salmon smelt old and was very dry, the squid was cooked in old fat, the chips in all the meals were par cooked, the steak sandwich was overcooked. When the waiter asked how we enjoyed our meals, I told him they were all dreadful. He said that was good, it was helpful to give feedback to the Kitchen!

Dome Corporate don't care! – I provided feedback with photos to Dome Head Office a while back. I had a truly uninspiring experience at the Canning Vale Dome. Food was awful, overpriced, slow to come at a time that wasn't busy and cold. Moreover, my coffee card wasn't honoured because the Coogee Dome didn't use a stamp and wrote initials instead. I guess there's no consistent… Read more

company policy about this and the customer ends up copping it. Dome HQ never returned my calls...several of them, nor ever replied to my emails. Each time I spoke with someone during office hours (3 different times), I was told that no one was in the office to address my concerns and that I'd get a call back. Never happened. Liars. Suffice it to say, I have never nor will I ever again enter a Dome restaurant. I've dissuaded friends and family alike many times since. Moral of my story, it doesn't enhance profits nor your image when your customers are disrespected and ignored.

Dome Cafe Koombana Bunbury – I am sad to write another negative review (as I prefer to be positive) but it needs to be said. week. The place echoed...the noise was horrendous and you could hear conversations across the room - it was LOUD!!!. The place looked shabby/dirty. When I got my meal what a shocker. As I have Crohns I only ever order fish n chips etc wherever I eat, so I know whats on my plate eg I dont want hidden ingredients to surprise me later. Well it cost around $24 for a fishermans basket from memory and my plate arrived with 6-10 shoes string chips mostly offcuts (little bits) cant remember whether it was 1 or 2 little pieces of fish so thin half was batter, a couple of squid rings from which I had to pull off the skin which looked like a pile of elastic bands on my plate, 3 tiny shrivelled up prawns but more like tiny shrimp and I think a scallop and a little pile of salad with no dressing and the tomato and cucumber bits were mostly skin with the middle cut out (btw why do restaurants do that..the middles the best bits??). The chips which were mostly ends wouldnt have even made a sandwich, the prawns were so over cooked they had shrunk to half their normal size and were so chewy I couldnt eat them. When I asked the waitress (very nicely I might add) to pass on to the chef how disappointed I was I received no feedback, apology or offer to replace my meal. Now as I live in the country I often buy those boxes of fish, scallops, prawns and callamari etc so know how reasonably cheap they are, how many meals I get out of a box of each and how tasty they are...I dont think the 'chef' even used the frozen stuff unless he deep fried everything, which you dont need to do with those products. Mostly I was embarrassed because I was out with friends who were shouting us our lunch..thanks guys, so sorry I complained but it really was aweful!!! Not your fault. On the way home we called in to Maccas and got coffee, chicken nuggets and an apple pie...thank god for Maccas...btw Ive said it before.."best coffee ever anywhere"!!! Sorry I dont have pictures or a receipt this time.
