Messy and risk of cracking – They do as they say, reduce colic, but they are very hard to upkeep. I warm the breastmilk slowly in the tommy tippee warmer and the necks have still cracked on these bottles. Also, the warmth pushes the mill up the straw and overflows into the warmer. They say don't cry over spilt milk, but it's hard when you can lose up to 20ml per bottle, so… Read more

now I have to take the lids off to warm. Replacements are hard to get. God forbid the dog runs off with a straw, attachment or screw cap because the cost of replacing surpasses a bottle on special.

This bottle shatters dangerously - MY DAUGHTERS FACE NEEDED 14 STITCHES – Do NOT BUT THIS or any glass bottle for your child. Please. My daughter had just finished her bottle. I was sitting on the couch beside her. She only just turned one. She accidentally knocked the bottle onto the floor, IT SHATTERED, and she fell off the couch on top of it looking down at the noise it made when it shattered. Freak accident but my… Read more

baby’s face has 4 lacerations, required around 14 stitches and her life will be affected by these scars for the REST OF HER LIFE.

Do not buy glass drinking bottles. Please.

Glass bottle is nice but bottle leaks – Buyer beware - this is not the perfect solution we thought it would be considering the high cost. The major problem is if you fill bottle more than 40%, your formula will run up the breather straw and spill out from under the lid as you tilt it to feed. This seems to be an almost unbelievable oversight by the manufacturer and we actually thought… Read more

it must have been us doing something wrong but on inspection it wasn't.

It's a pity as otherwise the glass bottle is off good quality, the breather systems works OK - even though our baby still burbs the same as with standard $5 bottles but it does seem to make the flow better if that is what you are after.

I wish I found this sooner – My baby suffers from wind and acid reflux and this bottle has really made a difference to her symptoms. She can feed without working against the vacuum of the bottle and its really easy for her to feed and there have been far less spit ups, chuck ups and general episodes of wind discomfort. The quality feels really good too.

Measurements guides are wrong! – Be very careful if you are using the Dr Browns Glass Baby Bottles, the measuring guides are incorrect. You will not be mixing your baby the correct levels of water / milk powder. This can be very serious. I used three other measuring cups and they all proved Dr Browns wrong by up to 12ml. Not safe and not good. Not to mention way too narrow to get powder into the bottle, don't buy them. What was right? Dangerous to babys.

Can only use so long – These bottles are great until a child reaches the stage where they can hold their own bottle. These are too heavy for an infant to try to hold. Also they break very easily! I would recommend them for the first couple months. It get rid of them ASAP when the baby is trying to hold the bottle. Very clean Too heavy
