I found out about Dr Squatch on Facebook and decided to buy some of their soaps to try as there are pretty much no men’s soaps on the market. Well since then I buy their soaps, deodorant, body wash and Cologne. Never use anything else, great service and quick delivery. My Missus even bought me a cologne and soap package from them for Father’s Day and I absolutely love it. Great product.
Terrible smell. I’ve got pine tar body wash, not only the packaging is different to what is advertised but also it smells like a floor cleaner(hospital grade). Was looking for something natural but this thing doesn’t smell close to it. When I complaint they offered me 7$ discount. Are they comedians?Very disappointed. Will never buy again. Dont need their refunds and discounts.
When I got the product it was quick to arrive, but after a week of using the deodorant I started to get skin irritations and welts ,so I stopped using it. I thought o well that's that until they sent the second batch , I reached out to them and told them my problem as and wanted to return the second unopened package and they gave me the run… Read more
around even suggesting I needed to see a doctor and continuing to try and sell me other products . Its been back and forth with emails to no avail, even tried through pay pal but they said it had been more than 30 days , and I explained how ive been getting the run around for that long. Definitely stay clear of this company.
I've used this product (Soap and deodorant) for over 6 months. I don't review products immediately as they turn out occasionally great and most times poor. The only thing these products have going for them is long lasting fragrances and that's with some of the varieties, not all. - Poor performance (Sweat) - fails to stop even reduce under arm… Read more
perspiration. Their advertising campaign advising it works. Doesn't for me. After 6 months I switched back to the cheap speed stick and wet armpits gone!
- Poor performance (Lifespan) - If I apply frugal I may not even wear deodorant, applying more becomes pasty and runs out with 7-8 days (applying twice a day). 1-2 week lifespan for soap as well.
My girlfriend has banned me from using pine tar soap as you end up with black/grey soap scum everywhere.
- Price point - ridiculously high about 2-3x what it should be priced.
- Ordering from their online store - Never in-stock, orders taken 4-6 weeks to arrive. I would like Dr Squatch to contact the customer advising something isn't available, rather than waiting for the customer chasing their orders.
* Personally I much rather a deodorant that works even if It contains aluminium. I won't be ordering more deodorants. However, I'm happy to continue ordering the soaps.
Deodorant is way overpriced. The scent is good and lasts, but the amount you get for the price is unaffordable. Once you get to the end of the stick, the base has holes in it and swivels around. So a portion of the product is lost. At the price point, I need to get every ounce of product. The product has left my shirts stained, looking like I… Read more
sweat profusely. I gave 3 stars as the scents are nice and has good longevity, otherwise 1 star is all I'd score.
Just terrible unfortunately. I finally gave into the facebook marketing when I spotted this at Woolworths. For $10 I thought I would at least give it a try as a once off. The claims they make are so unrealistic it's not funny. Firstly the soap does have many different fragrances, however they are so mild it's shouldn't even be considered a… Read more
valid reason to purchase. I ended up with the Rum fragrance and it's barley noticeable at all, and almost non-existent after you use the product. Secondly, the soap bar is a very awkward shape to use. The square is far too big when new, however it reduces rapidly when using. The product wears out extremely quickly compared to other products making it's price point far too high for what you get. Lastly the Dr Squatch soap makes no noticeable difference to your skin, at least in my experience. Given it's list of ingredients I would have expected at least some moisturising benefits.
Pros: Decent range of different fragrances
Cons: Awkward shape Deteriorates quickly Fragrance barley noticeable Over priced No moisturising benefits
There are far better options out there that perform much better. Nivea and Dove just to name a few.
Great Products, delivery challenges – I bought a range of Dr Squatch products in late August. The first shipment got lost (thanks AusPost) and the second shipment arrived 19th October. Dr Squatch were great about replacing the lost products at no charge but the wait time was painful. The products however are amazing, they were great for my skin and hair and i will be buying more with consideration of the delivery time so i don't run out!
Dr Squatch - Star Wars™-Inspired Shower Boosters pack - Very Misleading product – I ordered this product from the Dr Squatch Website in November 2022, from an Instagram post that showed a very compelling product. After much backing and forwarding, I got a bundle because I needed help finding products that would give me at least one soap product to try. I opted to purchase the Star Wars™-Inspired Shower Boosters pack because the… Read more
descriptive image also shows a soap and a few items of Star Wars branding that captivated my interest. The mobile website has no clear description of the items, and the price more than speaks for the inclusions in the package. There was no clear definition of the product then, so one is to assume, based on the price, the name, and the poor description offered on the mobile site, that Dr Squatch would include soap, but it doesn't. There is no care from Dr Squatch to advise customers of these bundles, especially when they are looking to get people on board with their subscriptions.
I ordered the products in late October 2022, and only a partial delivery was on time. Then Dr Squatch sent the rest, and it never came. I approached their customer service before Christmas, as Australia Post had already announced the crazy times. However, despite my warnings, the customer service team still insisted on waiting another week. It never came still, and they want me to wait another few weeks for a new order to arrive. How can you sell in Australia and not have stock for quicker dispatch?
Poor customer service, processing times and careless attention to detail are how much they care about customers.
I have since requested a refund that was processed very quickly, but I never got to try the product, which is a shame because it could have been great. I also bought a travelling bag for the soap I will never use because I still need the overpriced soap.
Only buy if you are willing to waste your time and money.
