Drive is better than any other laundry powder I have ever used. Bring it back! – I have used Drive in a domestic situation for more than ten years and it has always had excellent results. When it became unavailable I phoned the company number on the package where I was given no reason for discontinuing production of Drive and told to buy Omo instead. Victoria now that I’m back I asked my granddaughter to buy it for me in NSW but I can’t get it since the covid-19 stopped us travelling.

Not the same scent, but same performance – I loved Drive 10 years ago, always chose it over Omo. used to have. There is a detergenty, clean, non-perfumey scent which is barely discernible on the clean, dry washing.

Also, the size of the bucket it comes in is a bit OTT. The bucket contains 2 plastic packets of 4kg of powder, both of which I immediately decanted into a lidded bucket of my own that was half the size of the Drive bucket, and all 8kg fitted easily.

Most importantly though, is the performance of the product itself. I cannot quibble at all. I use a top loader and the clothes come out perfectly clean, with no powder residue. My whites look great.

I don't use fabric softener due to family skin sensitivities and the clothes still feel quite soft. Drive hasn't aggravated anyone's skin in this household either.

We have some stinky sportswear in our house and that comes out of the machine fresh and odour-free every time.

Haven't needed to use any Napisan as a cleaning booster since I started using Drive.

I feel the packaging is wasteful and I'm disappointed that the scent isn't the same, but this is a great performing powder that isn't overwhelmingly perfumed, like so many laundry products are these days.

No smell, perfect for me – Have used drive for many years, good for all washes, really great for whites, it's the only one I can use as there is no smell, can still get it at IGA, used to stock up big time when they have it half price, but dont get a catalogue for it, and different IGA s have their own specials.

Where to buy – Can purchase at Pinjarra w.a. mitre 10. Not sure about other mitre 10 stores. I agree it is the only detergent that cleans really dirty clothes properly. Good luck finding it.

Please dont DRINK DRIVE cos it tastes like wash powder – Hey I've been using drive for over twenty years now from what i can remember..im a diesel mechanic and also drive road trains..when its time for the washing at least every second day lol.as you can imagine my clothes are very dirty full of grease and all sorts..drive washes them spotless everytime..i would strongly recommend to everyone if you want heavy duty hard core dirty clothes this is the product.

Excellent product – My Mum and Dad put me on to this years ago as my Father was a massuer and trying to get all the oil out of the white sheets was a nightmare. and not much soap content, that is why Drive has always worked so much better than other detergents and is much more expensive.

But like others on here, it does come out for half price a lot and I buy about 4 boxes and hardly ever buy it at full price. I have used it for years and it has never let me down. Also you don't need to use as much as is recommended to get good results. Works better than others, don't need to use much to get results.

Where did it go – Drive Landry concentrate - simply the best product pf its type in hot or cold water. I normally use it in warm wather with a 15 minute pre-soak. Fantastic. Unfortunately my local Woolworths has stopped stocking the product (Upper Camberwell - Meobourne) which is a royal pain. They can probably make more profit selling an inferiour brand. Septic tanks – I love using drive but now have shifted to the country using septic tanks & wondering is it safe to use still Please help us out thank you.. great product but using less than normal dosage is recommended – As other reviews state that it removes stubborn stains without adding any pretreaters or soaking solutions. giving impression that it has worn for 10 years. I think I probably add too much giving the fact that I have a 6 kg of top loader, so don't be greedy or worry about it will underperform if adding less than what says on the box.

This is probably the only laundry product that you have to be very cautious with the dosage. For top loader that is 5-6kg, 3/4 scoop is recommend for full load, 1/2 scoop for small load. For 6.5-7.5kg of top loader, follow the instruction on the box, but once again not-full-scoop is recommended for small to medium load. For big capacity of top loader, then 1 and half scoop will optimize the washing performance in a full load. Very tough on stubborn stain such as blood or grease May fade your cloths significantly if adding too much

pretty grubby job and I often got comments on how my shirts were always so white so I told them it was Drive that did it. My boys wives now use it to keep their kids clothes nice now so it has served us for a long time. Dont stop making it PLEASE. So good for stain removal and whitening.

OK – Drive is great for heavy duty washing but we found with continous use we developed skin rashes! I would recommend it for overalls etc but not for sheets or underwear. Great for stain removal Very strong!

trusted brand and recommended for getting the worst stains out of clothing because it will leave the clothing fresh and clean every time. You cannot use when you hand wash because it is very strong! It will leave the hands very sticky and hard to get off.

Excellent – Drive has been around for years. I remember my mum using it, but I believe they changed the formula a little as it fades the blacks, dark, and colours clothes. booster to be added to the wash. Removes most stains. Quality product Is expensive. Sometimes I find my darks and colours get faded from using Drive, so it can be a little harsh on clothes.
